My aim is to have a solid Kalemne deck that is 1/2 Giant Tribal and 1/2 Voltron. The balance I have right now feels good but the ratio of utility and everything else is still up in the air.

It's definitely a bit of a struggle to play Giant Tribal when there is no shortage of sensational non-giant creatures that are CMC 5 and above.

The original build of this deck was only about $65 and it ran quite smoothly in testing. Once I got all the cheap cards to build it I put in a bunch of non-budget cards from my collection that needed homes so the price shot way up. The skeleton of the deck is still budget in my mind, as things like Swords to Plowshares can be swapped out for Crush Underfoot, etc.
