MULDROTHA THE LORD OF THE GRAVE

Hello all and welcome to my Muldrotha, the Gravetide deck! This is my current main edh deck in paper so it's not perfect, but it will only get better with time. Muldrotha has always been my favorite commander and she will soon be yours too!. I do need any recommendations, I wanna make this deck an absolute killer!

Muldrotha has the advantage of making your graveyard your hand. There is a couple of ways that can make this super useful, even with the restriction of only permanents. Cards like Entomb , Final Parting , and Buried Alive all become amazing tutors when Muldrotha is out on the battlefield. These are especially good because they are 9/10 used to fetch your combo pieces which I will talk more about later on. Enchantments like Pernicious Deed and Seal of Primordium are great forms of removal because they can be replayed each turn with Muldrotha, the Gravetide . Cards with evoke such as Mulldrifter and Shriekmaw are also super good because you can recast one of them each turn for the extra value and removal.
There are a bunch of combos that we are winning in this deck due to the variety of tutor spells we have.

  1. The first combo uses Altar of Dementia + Kaya's Ghostform + Muldrotha, the Gravetide . How this combo works is you play Kaya's Ghostform on Muldrotha, the Gravetide then sacrifice her to Altar of Dementia targeting an opponent. In order for this combo to truly go infinite is by also having either Pitiless Plunderer or Lotus Petal in play to use for the one black mana on Kaya's Ghostform .
  2. The second combo that I find to be the easiest to pull off is Demonic Consultation + Thassa's Oracle . This one is pretty self-explanatory; you play Thassa's Oracle than before it resolves you play Demonic Consultation naming a card that is not in your deck. After you exile your graveyard, everything resolves and you win! This also works with Jace, Wielder of Mysteries in place of Thassa's Oracle
  3. Basalt Monolith + Mesmeric Orb is also infinite. You can use this with Thassa's Oracle as well as Jace, Wielder of Mysteries
  4. The last combo is Muldrotha, the Gravetide + Llanowar Elves + Timestream Navigator + Prime Speaker Vannifar. This combo is the most complicated so here we go. First things first, you need all four creatures on the battlefield with no summoning sickness, as well as having enough permanents for the city's blessing. Next, you activate Timestream Navigator , taking an extra turn. While you are still on the first turn you float a green with Llanowar Elves then sacrifice the elves to Prime Speaker Vannifar . With Prime Speaker Vannifar you go and find Timestream Navigator and then recast Llanowar Elves with the floating green mana. After this, you should have infinite turns, which you should be able to pull a win with.
That's it for graveyard mistress herself Muldrotha, the Gravetide . If you have any recommendations or comments please let me know, I'm always trying to improve my deck. I am aware that the mana base sucks, that's the main thing I want to focus on next. The maybe list is all of the cards that I would add if I had no budget. This deck can 100% be much cheaper if you have a smaller budget. Cards like Mana Vault can easily be replaced with a variety of other cards. Hope you enjoyed it, and let me know if you have any questions!
