Protecting Shirei is priority #1

Try to ramp into shirei ASAP, don't play any unconditional sac outlets until you're in second place. You don't want people to focus on how much value you could "potentially" accrue because the deck is weakest when you're setting up. I've actually purposely not activated before endstep (unless it's a draw source).

The engine takes care of itself. There's a -1/-1 (and counter) subtheme to make sure the few 2 and 3 power creatures survive rotations and to act as removal backup.

Win Cons include:

• Gray Merchant of Asphodel loops (when you can reduce his power before saccing)
• Marionette Master (make servos, sac before 3 end steps, then put the + counters on the 4th iteration then sac all 9 servos. 9 x 4 = 36 damage to any player)
• Syr Konrad, the Grim sees all your creatures enter the GY and leave it every endstep when they return due to Shirei. 5 Creatures being sacced means 10 life loss per turn or 40 life per rotation. Alternatively, if you have your Cabal Coffers , Cabal Stronghold , and Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx online, you can just mill until they bite the dust.
• Crypt Rats , your single board wipe. Use only if Shirei has indestructible or you have Balthor the Defiled or Phyrexian Reclamation . With enough mana and life gain, you can just keep using the rats as they come back.
• Liliana, Dreadhorde General 's ultimate. You usually have lots of fodder to block with as she upticks and she serves as a mini-board wipe and fantastic draw engine in the mean time.
• Lightning Coils usually makes enough 3/1 Elementals to aggro a player out. 3 creatures to sac means 36 hasty power on your turn across 12 creatures.
• Drifting Shade can simply be pumped enough to kill someone.
