With vigilance, Syr Carah can trigger herself two times in one turn.

If those two cards are Skewer the Critics and Twin Bolt , she triggers three more times.

If those three cards are Flame Jab , Arc Lightning , and a ritual, she triggers four more times.

If those four cards are Rain of Embers , two lands, and Lightning Bolt , she triggers five more times.

DRAGON UPDATE

IT'S TIME FOR DRAGONS NERDS. Dragon's Approach is not only hilarious, it's really good for this deck. We had Sizzle, which was great (not as great as Rain of Embers or Flame Rift but fantastic nonetheless). And Sizzle just got much much better for us in two crucial ways: First, we get to run as many as we want. 12 or 13 copies of a card that deals 9 damage and draws three cards seems good. Second, every fifth cast lets us tutor a dragon directly into play from our deck.

Our dragon selection is pretty limited at common, but we got some bangers.

  • Rapacious Dragon is our first choice. We maindeck Lotus Petal for a reason and that reason is that Free Mana is our motherflippin jam. Getting two Lotus Petals stapled to a 3/3 flier is a pretty sweet deal for zero mana.

  • Furnace Whelp is situational, but if Carah has exiled Rapacious, it's still a great choice. You have to imagine that by the time we've cast 5 Dragon's Approach, we're in the lategame, and we'll have the mana to feed Furnace Whelp big enough to one-shot anyone who doesn't have a handy flying blocker.

  • Our Third and final option is Lightning Shrieker , which is undeniably a bad card, but is far too funny to not run.

  • Scion of Ugin is a solid fourth place for us and may not make the cut. He's not flashy, but a 4/4 flier is meaty, and we like meat.

My dudes I am HYPE about these cards. we're gonna start with these three/four dragons and 12-13 approachs and adjust as necessary. It's possible that these are rookie numbers and I'll need to pump them up.
