This deck is intended to focus on the mechanics of prowess and other noncreature spell enhancements. I tried to incorporate as many double-use instants and sorceries to capitalize on the prowess mechanic. Animar serves as a great commander in that it's a popular target. The reduction of creature mana cost is nice as well; however, the deck does not need Animar to function.
