This is my take on a deck built around Urza, Lord High Artificer .

The optimal opening hand that I've discovered is to have two Island , Sol Ring , Isochron Scepter , Dramatic Reversal , a 0 cmc artifact like Ornithopter or Spellbook , and anything else, optimally something like Counterspell . On turn 1, play an Island, tap it for Sol Ring, tap it for Isochron Scepter, exiling Dramatic Reversal when it enters. Also, play the Spellbook or Ornithopter. Then, on turn 2, play the second Island and use the mana from the lands and the Sol Ring to cast Urza, getting an extra Construct. Tap the construct and Spellbook to pay the cost for Isochron Scepter's ability, use Dramatic Reversal to untap everything. Then, tap the Construct and the Spellbook for blue, tap the sol ring for Isochron Scepter, and repeat until you have as much mana as needed. Then, put it all into Urza's third ability, exiling cards from your library until you don't have any more. Then, cast Laboratory Maniac for free and play any of the multiple draw spells, including Sensei's Divining Top , Preordain , etc. If you need it, you can hold onto a counterspell in case someone tries to get rid of your Laboratory Maniac.

Another infinite combo that I discovered is in Sai, Master Thopterist , Mystic Forge , and Sensei's Divining Top . You can put Sensei's Top on top of your library, cast it with Mystic Forge, and then generate a thopter. Keep repeating this process, using the thopters to pay for the Top if needed, until you've drawn enough cards to combo off. Adding an Aetherflux Reservoir to the mix means game over, but it can also just be used to play a Lab Maniac and win that way, too.

I'm sure there are a bunch of kooky spooky combos that I have yet to discover with this deck, but even without insta-win combos, this deck provides some helpful power to win in other, non-combo ways, such as beating the self-confidence from your opponents via Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger and Blightsteel Colossus . Or, you can just get a super powerful Construct and deal large swaths of damage that way.

One of the biggest downsides to the deck is that it doesn't have a ton of direct removal. In my experience, the easiest way to remove a permanent from your opponent's board with this deck (aside from countering it) is to remove the opponent.

Good Luck!
