Hey there!

This is a mono-black Voltron-y style deck I've been fiddling with for some years now while trying to find something fun to do with Yukora, the Prisoner that wasn't a terrible ogre-tribal deck. Besides his not very useful ability he's a vanilla 5/5 for 4 mana that hits like a truck so I decided to take advantage of that.

The concept is simple-get out Yukora for fast and/or cheap, and beat face. If you're lucky, you can have him out Turn 1 with a Dark Ritual, Sol Ring, and a swamp. Use targeted removal like Murder against players with low creature counts or wipe the field with things like Crux of Fate and drop Yukora afterwards. Whispersilk Cloak and Rogue's Passage become late game keys to general damage.

The sideboard contains a number of other black legends the deck would also work around.

This is NOT one of my budget decks.
