Killian gives an awesome discount on auras and removal spells, which are my favorite types of spells! A 2 drop makes for a crazy fast start, which could give this commander an edge over other voltron generals.

If Killian gets dropped on turn 2, on the next turn we can potentially drop 3 auras on to Killian, making him a threat very fast... and if those auras cantrip, we can maintain card advantage. This seems like an ideal start, and we can potentially take out our first opponent as early as turn 4.

This deck is running several tutors, with the goal of finding Phyresis, Eldrazi Conscription, and Sigarda's Aid as early as possible. If we can drop auras at instant speed we should be able to plan our attacks more strategically.
