Sub-$100 Secret Sultai, Child of Alara deck, focused on Maze's End wins, and repeatedly finding and casting Villainous Wealth to use our Opponents' decks and strategies against them while achieving our stated goal. Child of Alara is massive value and offers exceptional board control once in play

Due (mostly) to the nature of MTG Finance, and the general trend of MTG cards to gain value, this has slowly crept from a $50 list to a $70 list to now one that hovers just below $99. It's still budget by most standards, and punches above its weight class due to the highly synergistic nature of the card selection

This is a foiled out, budget build, of a Child of Alara deck. Based upon a list I found on Facebook (sorry, no link available), which used almost exclusively commons.

The stock build has incredible synergy and interwoven card interactions (when was the last time you saw someone Splice onto Arcane?), and is tough to beat on it's own... It's quite fun taking down 3-4 decks with one that can cost about the same as $117 on TCG...

It's a fun, 5C-Sultai deck that aims to win by Maze's End, or by repeatedly casting Villainous Wealth and beating our opponents at their own game. Child of Alara is used to repeatedly and reliably wipe the board as threats come your way. Although I have pimped it out to Blingtown, the deck can currently be bought for as little as $117 on TCGPlayer. The goal is to have a competitive deck that costs next to nothing, to show that Commander does not have to be expensive to be powerful and fun. I hope you'll enjoy perusing it

Finally, I decided to foil the deck out because, SHINY! Non-foil, the current list costs $117 on TCG... Incredibly affordable.
