Alpha Strike

The main idea behind this deck is to have all creatures with first strike so that when Gisela hits the battlefield they can scythe through an opponents creatures.

It is intended to be a thematic Boros deck and therefore consist mainly of humans and angels. The thought behind the first strike theme is taken from the Boros emblem.

The mana ramp required to get Gisela out early is provided by artifacts as well as being a source of useful equipment to make the creatures just that bit more formidable.

The enchantments include things such as Curse of Bloodletting and Dictate of the Twin Gods to compound the amount of damage taken by an opponent.

If an opponent is running a large amount of enchantments and artifacts (compared to normal EDH decks) then this sideboard is designed to disrupt their decks when the damage inflicted from my main board isn't sufficient to cope. It is also design to cope with the main opposition I come up against which is a scarecrow land destruction deck (Cmon! scarecrow land destruction! get it?).
