Gor Muldrak is a very unique and weird Simic commander and so much so in fact that I didn't know what to make of him at first except to put him in my Phelddagrif grouphug deck but after hearing someone else talk about it I realized he'd make for a very interesting Superfriends/Token deck centered around protecting your Planeswalkers by turning any creatures that attack them into Salamanders and deterring your opponents from doing such. The main goal of this deck is to overwhelm opponents through the advantage built up by the Planeswalkers in this deck but there are also some others ways to take advtange of Gor Muldrak's unique abilities.

Salamander Makers

These are your most important cards for turning your opponent's creatures into Salamanders and keeping them from attacking your Planeswalkers. Unnatural Selection is no doubt the best card at doing this so it's important to leave up mana to counter any removal that might try and get it. Another big blowout involves Standardize combined with Peer Pressure as if you have enough token creatures out on the field you can turn everything into a Salamander and take it for yourself and finish off your opponents with it.

Amoeboid Changeling, Amphin Mutineer, Imagecrafter, Mistform Mutant, Standardize, Mystic Reflection, and Unnatural Selection.

Graveyard Recursion

These will be important for getting back cards like Standardize and allow us to use them multiple times throughout the game.

Regrowth, Eternal Witness, Bala Ged Recovery  , Seasons Past, Jace, Telepath Unbound, and Tamiyo, Collector of Tales.

Token Generators

With Parallel Lives and Doubling Season these are the cards that we want to protect at all costs.

Freyalise, Llanowar's Fury, Garruk, Primal Hunter, Vivien, Monsters' Advocate, Kiora, the Crashing Wave, and Nissa, Voice of Zendikar.

Slowing Down the Opponents

Some of these also produce tokens but their main thing is to further slowdown the opponents and keep them from attacking.

Fog, Oko, Thief of Crowns, Kiora, the Crashing Wave, Tamiyo, the Moon Sage, Teferi, Master of Time, Jace, Telepath Unbound, and Will Kenrith.

Proliferation & Similar Effects

Karn's Bastion, Flux Channeler Pir, Imaginative Rascal, Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider, Doubling Season.

Making/Encouraging Opponent's to Attack

An issue you can run into with Gor Muldrak is opponent's not attacking each other with the Salamander's they get so it's important to have these to help to either force or encourage them to do so for cards.

Angler Turtle, and Edric, Spymaster of Trest.

Isochron Scepter TurboFog Combos

Fog + Isochron Scepter , and Isochron Scepter + Standardize .

Both of these combos combined with Seedborn Muse put an almost complete and total lock on the board if other's can't remove Scepter and I don't have a counterspell in hand. Keep in mind the combo with Standardize only works while Gor Muldrak is on the board.

Bonus Wincons

If all else fails just rely on old reliable strategies with our token armies.

Craterhoof Behemoth, and Finale of Devastation.

Budget Replacement

A lot of these cards I've had for years and I only had to buy around $100 worth of cards I didn't have when I first put it together. If you like my idea and wanna copy me or take some notes here's some super simple cards to take out that'll drop the price by $1300. Everything else though I believe is necessary for making this deck work the way I've designed it to.

Tropical Island is easily replaced with something like Botanical Sanctum. The Fetchlands can be replaced with Evolving Wilds, Terramorphic Expanse, Fabled Passage, the Alara panoramas, and so on as well as a few basics. Force of Will, Mana Drain, Fierce Guardianship and the other expensive counterspells can easily be replaced with budget alternatives such as Negate and Arcane Denial which are perfectly fine replacements you shouldn't feel bad about using. Worldly Tutor could probably be taken out all together and Mystical Tutor could be replaced with Merchant Scroll which you can get for around $5. Ancient Tomb isn't necessary and can just be replaced with a basic or another non-basic of your choice, Cephalid Coliseum is also very much a non-necessary basic in the deck as well. Hullbreacher can easily be taken out as it's not 100% necessary you can put something like Talisman of Curiosity in it's place for ramp. Craterhoof Behemoth can be replaced with Overwhelming Stampede or other similar effects and this applies to Finale of Devastation as well. Sylvan Library can be substituted with Elemental Bond and Rhystic Study with another cheaper source of card draw such as Return of the Wildspeaker which can also be a good replacement for Craterhoof at the same time. Oko, Thief of Crowns can be taken out for Kiora, Behemoth Beckoner who can also be a good replacement for Rhystic Study and Sylvan Library herself. City of Brass and Mana Confluence are also incredibly easy cuts to make in a two colored deck.

A few of the remaining big ticket items such as Doubling Season, Parallel Lives, Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider, and even Cyclonic Rift I feel are important parts of making this strategy work. These are the big ticket items to prioritize I feel for this deck and I hope that Parralel Lives gets reprinted eventually and Vorinclex drops to around $20 after release.

Anyways leave me a like if you like what I've got going here and shoutouts to Josh Lee Kwai from The Command Zone podcast for the idea of Gor Muldrak superfriends.
