Esper Nightmare

After sitting through countless FNM and watching countless Esper decks run the exact same thing, Scarab God + Torrential Gearhulk and Teferi.. Yawn.... Figured it was time the Esper got an update to something a little more fun. Same control, same Teferi just let's get ready for rotation.

Creatures in Control?!? =O The meta is rather saturated with creatures at the moment that I was compelled to work more than a Gearhulk into the deck.

Resplendent Angel hot off the press a new Angel has stepped into the fold. She is a 3 cost 3/3 with flying that creates a 4/4 flying and vigilance. The ability to buff her late game into a 5/5 lifelink creature makes her rather though, and her sister in the air Lyra Dawnbringer makes her all the better.

Lyra Dawnbringer is often a common sideboard in W/U decks, with the recent release of Resplendent Angel I feel she has become a powerhouse with untapped potential. Local FNM I've seen her played often and she just fits.

Shalai, Voice of Plenty is just an amazing card she is cost effective and protects you from worst case scenarios, she eats big burn spells and is personally my guardian angel <3.

Twilight Prophet Raw untapped potential I'm going to release on the world, Esper decks easily achieve the Cities blessing and with all the higher costing cards ran in the deck the card has to be dealt with quickly. When combined with Search for Azcanta   semi controlling the burn card you have coming makes Twilight Prophet the honest hero of this deck. She gives the ability to spawn angels with Resplendent Angel and escapes easy burn spells from Red burn decks.

Chromium, the Mutable is a card I'm testing as I feel late game can really pull a win together. Also when drawn with Twilight Prophet burning your opponent and healing for 7 isn't a bad thing at all. With the ability to become hexproof and the inability to counter makes the card an excellent candidate for fun.
