Answered Hawk (Pauper MTG Deck)

The central piece that holds the deck together is Answered Prayers . It generates life and becomes a 3/3 flyer for only 3 mana, being the deck's main damage source.

Squadron Hawk , Legion Conquistador and Battalion Foot Soldier trigger Answered Prayers very reliably. They are essentially card draw too, especially in combination with Brainstorm .

The simple Thraben Inspector + Kor Skyfisher combo can be used, as well as Whitemane Lion . I eventually chose to splash blue though, since Spellstutter Sprite is too good to pass on for this deck.

Ballyrush Banneret reduces the cost of Palace Sentinels , Kor Skyfisher and both Legion Conquistador and Battalion Foot Soldier , but it's hard to say if that is enough.
