The general thought process for this deck is a wholly black themed deck. There isn't one exclusive viable strategy to win with here, it's mostly how can I entertain the table with black-themed shenanigans? I have from my early days playing mtg enjoyed black's theme of reanimation/death/destruction/power at all costs since I started playing in the Onslaught/Judgement blocks.

This deck is comprised of obviously only mono-black creatures and cards that utilize the black themes mentioned above. Erebos, God of the Dead as my commander suites this with his card draw ability and being indestructible helps me keep him on the battlefield long enough to gain a card draw advantage over my opponents.

The deck generally does not win any pod(s) I play in, but it's fun to see the different and odd ways ways the cards in it interact with the table. I enjoy just disrupting everyone else and being a bother with it, so it does that rather well.

I do enjoy the infect aspect of this, for Inkmoth Nexus or Phyrexian Crusader with Lashwrithe & Whispersilk Cloak equipped make for short work of my opponents.

Grave Titan / Army of the Damned with pump artifacts like Caged Sun or Gauntlet of Power are fun zombie overrun kills.

Another fun single player elimination is Sorin Markov with Sorin's Vengeance. What better way to kill an opponent if they allow me for 13 mana? haha.

Other fun cards I generally enjoy playing here are Black Market with any of my kill spells, because holy crap that free mana can add up quick as hell if it stays on the board for another turn. Or for that instance using graveyard recursion to either bring all creatures onto the battlefield with Rise of the Dark Realms or using the combo of Mikaeus, the Unhallowed + Puppeteer Clique + Viscera Seer . Or just grabbing the biggest creature in the graveyard with Reanimate. All enjoyable ways to play into the graveyard recursion theme!

Took out Sword of Hearth and Home / Wandering Archaic   as they did not work with the general black theme of death/destruction.

It That Betrays & Read the Bones , however, allow the deck to flow better.
