After somewhat of a drought, Lost Caverns of Ixalan look pretty cracked. Bloodletter of Aclazotz, Elenda's Hierophant, Get Lost and Master of Dark Rites look excellent, Sanguine Evangelist, Bartolome del Presidio, Clavileno, First of the Blessed and Charismatic Conqueror, Roaming Throne all look ok. Ojer Taq, Deepest Foundation   is a possible reanimation target.

This used to be an aggro deck, but over time incorporated more and more combo elements. Shared Animosity or Coat of Arms with ~10 vampires on the board is still enough to kill everyone usually. Armageddon or Contamination while ahead also usually wins the game. Alternative wincons are Oathsworn Vampire + Phyrexian Altar/Pitiless Plunderer for infinite ETB and death triggers, Animate Dead + Worldgorger Dragon for infinite ETB triggers. Comments and suggestions are very welcome.

Notable exclusions, tech choices, budget options, fun suboptimal options:

Contamination vs Armageddon: Contamination is generally better because it can be looked up with Academy Rector and Enlightened Tutor. If you're feeling particularly evil, run both.

Temple of Silence, Malice, Triumph: It might be correct to run these even in the fully pimped out version, because you can almost always get away with sacrificing one mana for digging one card deeper into your deck.

Oketra the True, Anya, Merciless Angel, Tajic, Blade of the Legion, Falkenrath Aristocrat: I like these a lot, but 4+ mana is too much to pay for a just a beater.

Door of Destinies, Cathars' Crusade, Fervent Charge, Dictate of Heliod, Ajani Goldmane, Obelisk of Urd, Eldrazi Monument, Throne of the God-Pharaoh, Etchings of the Chosen, Shared Triumph: These are all solid fair cards that I can't afford to run in my local cutthroat meta. You should include a couple of these if you can't afford to run all the tutors.

Arcane Signet, Boros, Rakdos, Orzhov Signet: My top end costs 4-5 mana. I don't need slow ramp.

Anointed Procession: This is the most overrated card for Edgar decks. It's much stronger to run an extra anthem or Blood Artist-like effect, or even just card draw like Read the Bones or board protection like Boros Charm.

Bloodline Keeper  , Sanctum Seeker, Mirror Entity: I like my 4+ mana anthems more resilient to removal.

Malakir Bloodwitch: Almost strictly worse than Sanctum Seeker.

Drana, Liberator of Malakir, Rakish Heir, Vampire Socialite: I prefer lords with immediate impact.

Patron of the Vein, New Blood, Olivia Voldaren: Cute, but inefficient removal options.
