GeminiSpartanX There are many ways for Slivers to go infinite in mana, creatures or damage. I will start by listing 3 of the most common ones you will generally see to get you started. The rest I will leave for you to discover through play.

  1. Sliver Queen+Mana Echoes: The classic, will generate infinite mana and Sliver tokens, combine with a haste sliver for an infinite attack or use Lavabelly Sliver for infinite target damage and life.

  2. Basal Sliver+Sliver Queen+Lavabelly Sliver: Infinite target damage and life gain.

  3. Intruder Alarm+The First Sliver: Not truly an infinite combo on it's own but can be with the right setup or hit's off cascade triggers. Intruder Alarm combos with a ham sandwich so not hard to make infinite with mana/haste slivers and Hibernation Sliver and Darkheart Sliver.

Bonus: The most important cards to consider for combos. Sliver Queen, Basal Sliver, Lavabelly Sliver, Hibernation Sliver, The First Sliver, Gemhide Sliver, Manaweft Sliver, Heart Sliver, Cloudshredder Sliver, Firewake Sliver, Darkheart Sliver, Cautery Sliver, Sliver Overlord, Homing Sliver, Mana Echoes, Intruder Alarm, Faces of the Past.

Support Cards: The most important cards to protect your combos. Crystalline Sliver, Root Sliver, Sliver Hivelord, Quick Sliver, Ward Sliver, Force of Will, Patriarch's Bidding.

@ TheChanesaw,

Nope. As lovely as Sliver Gravemother is, she doesn't really work as one of the 99. Her themes are so unique that I feel compelled to make her the head of her own deck with Myriad and Encore subthemes shored up with End of Turn effects. The idea is to abuse the End of Turn step by routinely clearing the stack when it has the Sacrifice trigger hit at the end of combat (in Myriad's case) or end step (in Encore's case). The best part is when multiple copies of Sliver Legion or The First Sliver are on the battlefield alongside Gravemother resulting in a very fun and powerful play experience - I hope anyway. I'm starting to assemble a list, and will attempt to make a fun budget oriented Sliver deck.

If you’re just looking for cascade then stuff like Shardless Agent and Violent Outburst are probably what you’re after - they’re the “tried and true” enablers for cheating out manaless cards like Living End.

If you’re instead referring to a combo effect that lets you win the game on the spot, The First Sliver might be what you’re after. The deck is quite gimmicky but seems reasonably powered - though its not cheap and there’s almost no wiggle room as far as a lot if these cards are required for it to function. Article/list here

Side note: I don’t think Imoti is even close to viable/playable even if it were modern legal. Even decks with dedicated ramp can’t justify more than a few high-mana cards (and you’d just be cascading into more ramp, which by that stage you don’t need, so its pointless). Card seems super weak/bad imo.

(woops, I meant Sliver Hivelord, not The First Sliver)

Hi Mortlocke!

I was wondering if you've considered And They Shall Know No Fear a as possible inclusion in the deck? It could be a decent protection against board-wipe if the meta start to get a bit too heavy on that front while doubling as a possible surprise cover for a free attack turn while The First Sliver is of the board.

The best Slivers deck I've ever run was a deck revolving around using Didgeridoo or Sorin, Imperious Bloodlord to drop Morophon, the Boundless, then casting The First Sliver for free and cascading a bunch of cards. I used cards like Hibernation Sliver and Wheel of Fate to keep the cycle going.

It was capable of turn 1 wins but it wasn't very consistent. Adding Brainstorm and such helped matter, but it wasn't perfect.

(Note: just noticed that you specified Modern. My bad.)
