Tamiyo, Compleated Sage

Legendary Planeswalker — Tamiyo

Compleated ({GP/UP} can be paid with , , or 2 life. If life was paid, this planeswalker enters with two fewer loyalty counters.)

+1: Tap up to one target artifact or creature. It doesn't untap during its controller’s next untap step.

-X: Exile target nonland permanent card with mana value X from your graveyard. Create a token that's a copy of that card.

-7: Create Tamiyo's Notebook, a legendary colourless artifact token with “Spells you cast cost less to cast" and ": Draw a card."

legendofa except, there are two cards with phyrexian mana in Standard right now. Ajani, Sleeper Agent and Tamiyo, Compleated Sage

Hence, I conclude they're generally willing to print them, but I doubt there will be more free spells or color breaks (possible, but unlikely).

This link here is an example of what current modern infect decks look like. Specifically, the deck aims to win the game as fast as possible, ideally on turns 2 or 3. The deck doesn't want the game to go long because that will most-certainly mean defeat.

Added to the above, even non-aggressive modern decks still generally don't want to be playing more than 3-4 cards costing 4-mana, with nothing above this cost (you've got a whopping 20 cards costing 4-or-more, which will cause your deck to be miserably slow). Modern infect decks typcically don't want to play anything costing more than 2-mana (Though some more recent decks have been playing Phyrexian Crusader to help versus some matchups).

So, firstly I'd strongly suggest ditching all your slow and sluggish cards - all of Core Prowler, Evolution Sage, Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider, Ajani, Sleeper Agent, Tamiyo, Compleated Sage, and Fuel for the Cause, Brokers Ascendancy, Hadana's Climb  Flip, Inexorable Tide, and Oath of Teferi. All of these cards are faaaar too slow and will just give your opponent too much time to get a stable boardstate and lock you out of the game. I would also suggest ditching Unbounded Potential, just because it's a weak spell, and adding a 3rd colour just needlessly complicates what you're doing given your awkward landbase (if you play just 2 colours you can probably just run basics and not slow yourself down running taplands).

Cards to consider adding in include Become Immense, Vines of Vastwood, Mutagenic Growth, Might of Old Krosa, Blossoming Defense, Distortion Strike, Scale Up, and Rancor. When playtesting your deck, you want to be aiming to reliably deal 10 infect within the first 2-3 turns.

Kenrith, Compleated Oligarch

Legendary Creature - Phyrexian Noble

Compleated ( can be payed with or 2 life. If life was paid with way, this creature enters the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it for each 2 life paid this way.)

: Creatures you control gain vigilance and haste until end of turn.

: Draw a card. You lose 1 life.

: Target creature gains infect until end of turn.

3/4

Make a new card with "Compleated". Maybe do a favorite legend or creature of yours. Example: Tamiyo, Compleated Sage

Edit: Or Wild, if you'd rather not, but I'd love to see what someone or some people come up with.

Ragecody on First decks NEO build

Hi everyone! I am new to MTG and I have been trying to make two standard decks, using NEO cards exclusively, for kitchen magic based on Tamiyo, Compleated Sage and another deck around The Wandering Emperor. These decks are blue/green with a focus on enchantments, and a red/white Samurai deck, respectively. I think I have a decent start, but I think they could be more focused and I am having a hard time reducing the amount of cards to 60, so I wanted to ask for suggestions as to what to cut. Because I have been so back and forth on how they are built, I have most NEO cards from red/white/blue/green, so if you suggest replacing something, I may have it handy!

Second question is how many non basic lands are good to have in standard decks? I have a number of them, but I imagine having too many will disrupt things as they enter tapped.

Lastly, for Weaver of Harmony, does its ability mean that I can copy things that trigger from the enchantment sagas? For instance, Boseiju Reaches Skyward  Flip, if I can copy that ability, it would mean that I would search for a total of 4 lands from the first phase of the saga?

here are the links to the two decks

Changes, 11 Mar 2022: -1 Windborn Muse, +1 Tamiyo, Compleated Sage. I have plenty of attack tax effects and can spare one of them. A creature based one seems like the best choice, and I like Archangel of Tithes better so out came the muse. This Tamiyo I knew I wanted to include for recursion purpose since she was spoiled, so in she goes.
