legendofa on How Did Riku Lose Popularity?
The original Commander 2011 commanders were as much defining and refining the color space for enemy trios as they were introducing a new product. The last 10+ years have seen a lot of development, and what was exploratory and experimental then is well-established now. If nothing else, there are simply a lot more options--a deck that might have been headed by Riku of Two Reflections could now be Iluna, Apex of Wishes or Xyris, the Writhing Storm or Surrak Dragonclaw. If you were playing before 2019, you had five options: Riku, Surrak, Animar, Soul of Elements, Maelstrom Wanderer, or Intet, the Dreamer. Now, there are more options, and more specialized options. The four years since then have quadrupled the lost of possible commanders for that color set.
I haven't seen a Ruhan of the Fomori or Damia, Sage of Stone deck for a very long time, but those were popular, too.

Garruk Wildspeaker would also make Jegantha illegal as a companion. Or perhaps you meant a different Garruk? Chromatic Lantern would be a good choice. I'm honestly not confident about the mana base as is, so another way to get all the colors could be very helpful. My current list has a lot of basics for budget reasons and I'm planning to rely on green mana ramp like Cultivate and Farseek, along with Jegantha, to get the colors I need. I expect I may be making swaps once I have the deck in paper and am able to play it a few times.
And swapping in Surrak Dragonclaw for Majestic Myriarch seems like a fine choice. I am personally excited to try out the Myriarch so I expect to keep it in for at least the first version of this deck. I view it as a backup to Odric to still take advantage of all the keywords if/when Odric gets removed. But it doesn't contribute much otherwise since, other than having huge stats (assuming I have a lot of creatures in play), it really doesn't do anything while Odric is also in play. Plus it's not legendary and thus doesn't synergize with Buttercup. So Surrak may very well be stronger. Like I said above, I think Surrak is a solid choice and I may very well add him myself at some point.

I think Surrak Dragonclaw would be solid! Another way to give trample to deathtouch creatures is never bad. And with so many creatures in the list, making it so they can't be countered seems like a nice bonus. I will add him to the maybeboard and will definitely consider it.

Animar, Soul of Elements is the reason I initially got into Temur, love that guy!
As a longtime brewer of this particular Commander, I'd highly recommend a few cards. Shrieking Drake, Ancestral Statue, Surrak Dragonclaw & Wandering Archaic Flip are bangers. I'd also recommend running a huge amount of Dorks like Llanowar Elves & Bloom Tender, they offer insane value in conjunction with this particular Commander. If you're not running anti-Artifact Stax like Collector Ouphe, I'd run a few Mana Rocks as well like Sol Ring & Arcane Signet.
If you're really trying to push the power level, cards like Dockside Extortionist, Treasure Nabber, Spellseeker, Imperial Recruiter, Phantasmal Image, Phyrexian Metamorph, Grazilaxx, Illithid Scholar, Toski, Bearer of Secrets & Consecrated Sphinx will do just that.
Certain artifacts like Conqueror's Flail, Cloudstone Curio & The Ozolith are also worth thinking about.
Certain other pieces like Trinket Mage, Tribute Mage, Trophy Mage, Goblin Welder & Fauna Shaman can help you quickly Tutor up what you need in a synergistic way, but I'd also recommend Gamble & Worldly Tutor.

Hey, good start, still have 25 cards to cut though which is a lot.
Lets start with cutting noncreature spells and then move to cutting creatures? First cuts to consider:
- Myriad Landscape
- Ash Barrens
- Shamanic Revelation
- Search for Tomorrow
- The Celestus
- Xenagos, the Reveler
You can afford to cut a couple of the subpar lands for five colors. Ash Barrens is fine if you want to spend one mana to fetch a basic land, but if you have to play it as a land then it could slow down being able to cast Jodah too much. Shamanic Revelation is not good draw here for five mana. You're much more likely to have a higher power creature than the same number of creatures equal or more than the amount of power.
There's 40 creatures here, but if I was building this deck I would play only 20 of them which includes both nonLegendary Elders. Some advice to consider is choose the 20-25 best Legendary creatures and cut the others? Since you're not playing hatebears, what you're looking for with Legends are getting value from other Legends or casting spells from exile. How they support Jodah because he's the best attacking creature when you control other Legends.
Using Legendary creatures you're currently playing here's how I would break down the priority areas from Legends to keep:
Those who draw, ramp or find other Legends.
- Sisay, Weatherlight Captain
- Reki, the History of Kamigawa
- Esika, God of the Tree Flip
- Shanid, Sleepers' Scourge
- Jhoira, Weatherlight Captain
- Maelstrom Wanderer
- Rashmi, Eternities Crafter
- Yidris, Maelstrom Wielder
- Niambi, Esteemed Speaker
Those who make Jodah a better attacker.
- Halana and Alena, Partners
- Kamiz, Obscura Oculus
- Odric, Lunarch Marshal
- Surrak Dragonclaw
- Arvad the Cursed
Those who help for recovery from removal.
Those who are support, but don't fit into the other areas.
In place of two of the lesser Legends consider Legend tutors, Time of Need and Search for Glory?
Some Legends within the budget to consider adding:
Good luck with your deck.

Only other thing I was thinking of: I would 110% run Surrak Dragonclaw as the commander rather than Intet. Intet's kind of deceptive because his text includes the word "free", and it's easy to fixate on that and forget it's not actually free - it's 2U and you must control your incredibly expensive commander. Now, a lot of times you can cast it for free immediately, but all that stuff I said about Spellbinder applies here again. Also, anything that costs 3 or less (29 cards) is effectively not discounted at all - meaning zero gains for all that effort.

Sorry, some last minute thoughts:
Surrak Dragonclaw or Stonehoof Chieftain are great replacements for Khenra Charioteer.
Nath of the Gilt-Leaf is a good replacement for that Blaring Recruiter if you still haven't replaced it.
Kazuul, Tyrant of the Cliffs is better for a good defense. With all the creatures already giving haste (your commander being one of them), Rushblade Commander can be swapped.
Jazal Goldmane will give HUGE attacks and could replace Kargan Warleader is you're willing to dump mana on combat.
I would add Drumhunter due to it's card draw. Replace Duskwatch Recruiter Flip if you can.
Some notable mentions include: Boldwyr Intimidator, Arashin Foremost, Champion of Rhonas, Butcher of Malakir, Dragonscale General, and Flamerush Rider.
