Surge to Victory

Sorcery

Exile target instant or sorcery card from your graveyard. Creatures you control get +X/+0 until end of turn, where X is that card's converted mana cost/mana value. Whenever a creature you control deals combat damage to a player this turn, copy the exiled card. You may cast the copy without paying its mana cost.

I'd recommend cutting: - Hard Evidence - Hordeling Outburst - Stolen by the Fae - Octavia, Living Thesis - Niv-Mizzet, Parun - Izzet Chronarch - Izzet Chemister - Spellburst - Occult Epiphany - Prismatic Lens - Rogue's Passage

I'd recommend: - Mind Stone (This would probably be more flexible than Prismatic Lens) - Lorien Revealed - Mystic Sanctuary - Sokenzan, Crucible of Defiance - Skittering Invasion - Underworld Breach - Transcendent Message - Archmage Emeritus - Loyal Apprentice - Baral, Chief of Compliance (Potentially just doing a straight swap of this with Goblin Electromancer} - Storm-Kiln Artist - March of Swirling Mist - Crackle with Power (AWESOME win-con) - Apex of Power - Surge to Victory (This is hilarious) - Rise from the Tides - Mnemonic Deluge - Wayfarer's Bauble

Well, here is what I found: Anarchist, which seems over costed but will leave you a body you can Blim away, Ardent Elementalist is similar but 1 mana less. Backdraft Hellkite can let you Flashback Offering, but that's one and done as it's exiled after. Biblioplex Assistant has Flying, but that's a bad thing to give an opponent obviously. Bloodthirsty Adversary is another one off. Charmbreaker Devils are one of the more interesting ones, but it's awfully clunky. Efreet Flamepainter seems half-decent, but isn't repeatable. I'm a bit curious if Finale of Promise would work at all, it's annoying that you'd need both types, but if you can copy a Dark Ritual/Seething Song and Harmless Offering you can still do more stuff after. Invoke Calamity might be a fit, it's a lot of mana but is a strong effect. Goblin Dark-Dwellers is a beefy body but probably not something you'd want to donate after. I'm not sure if you could get in for damage with the spell-creature, but if you can Magar of the Magic Strings is pretty interesting. If you can get enough mana together Mizzix's Mastery might work, 4 mana to recast a 3 mana spell isn't terrible I'd say. Ogre Battlecaster might do it's thing more than once with First Strike. I'm not sure if Shreds of Sanity is reasonable, 2R is pretty cheap for this, but having to discard sucks. Revolutionist seems openly bad unless you can cast it via Madness. Spellweaver Helix is cool but might be too janky, but it can generate more Offerings (and another Sorcery I guess). I don't think you have a wide enough board to use it, but if you added more creatures then Surge to Victory could fit. Hope something in that pile I could dig out will work, there are some really pushed options like Yawgmoth's Will and Underworld Breach too fwiw, I guess you could Blim away Breach when you're done with it?

Random thought, but if you're fine with recursion effects maybe Oriq Loremage would fit in here? Probably would require more building around though, but Entomb is a great effect to have stapled to a creature if you've got the right cards.

CopperheadCA The last 6 games I've played with this deck (and won) I never summoned Karona, haha. She's primarily a threat piece and combat trick; I built this list with her not living through a turn cycle in mind. The fact that she was summoned and you didn't win even on turn 7 tells me that, respectfully, you didn't play to the strengths of the list, or likely just kept a poor hand. The tl;dr on that is that you want a power-scaling creature like Cold-Eyed Selkie on turn 2 or 3, then draw into buffs, ramp into zombies with Field of the Dead, and snowball from there. Everything scales and snowballs, and if you are drawing 4-7 cards each turn with the occasional extra turn you're going to win by turn 7 at the latest even through disruption. Seriously, like, Surge to Victory is broken.

SacredAtsira, I'd cut Share the Spoils as it offers an advantage for your opponent(s).

Volcanic Salvo is a cute card but for that mana value I'd prefer a game ending or totally field warping.

Surge to Victory is a double edged sword. If your creatures get ran into a Fog you lost your spell. Even if there is no fog effect if the creatures get blocked by 0/1 tokens you're in the same position. I don't see a lot of ways for you to force damage through.

I'd suggest cutting the artifact ramp that isn't Sol Ring or Mana Crypt for more spell/land-based ramp. Nature's Lore and Three Visits-like effects just to trigger more abilities/magecraft.

Some other suggestions that might be fun:

I have Reckless Rage in my graveyard and cast Surge to Victory targeting it. I deal damage to opponents with five creatures during combat, putting five copies of Reckless Rage on the stack. With each one I target various opponents' creatures, but only target a single 1/1 token I control with my half of each spell. The first copy to resolve will kill this 1/1 token, so what happens with the remaining copies on the stack? Do they still resolve without my creature in play to target? Does the whole spell fizzle, or only half of it? Thanks in advance! :)

You won't be able to use your white spells on Archon of Absolution

Oracle en-Vec is a card that I misunderstood for a while. Make sure you really want this in the deck.

Pursuit of Knowledge you definitely don't need. This card is only good in mono-white Eight and a Half Tails because they can protect it. You don't really need it with Feather.

Risk Factor - People will always take the damage

There are cards that care about instant and sorceries in your graveyard. Feather prevents them from going to the graveyard so they don't have a lot of use. See - Surge to Victory

Weird cards: Big Score, Deafening Clarion, Sevinne's Reclamation, Caged Sun

I have a lot more to say but it'll be easier to explain in person

Ancient copper dragon is crazy good. Rediscovered a newer favorite of mine Surge to Victory + Xtra combat spell is a inf combat win most of the time. Or w/out its still a great value play

A few additional thoughts though your 3 drop slot is huge maybe try to find some cheaper spells that make mana like Wily Goblin or Strike it Rich Impulsive Pilferer Indulge / Excess not the most fun but can allow you to have the fun.
