Cabal Coffers, Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx and Crypt Ghast to help ramp into a big Exsanguinate, Consume Spirit, Drain Life, or Soul Burn.

you also need more removal. Cast Down, Go for the Throat, Doom Blade, Dismember, and Infernal Grasp.

Actually, the namesake card for the op title: Rain of Gore. My favorites are: Carnival of Souls, Vile Requiem, Death's Duet, Season of the Witch, Death Rattle for sure and Death Bomb. More;

Metallic Mastery, Seething Song, Song of Blood, Songs of the Damned, Apocalypse, All of the death cards like Certain Death, Death Baron, Death Cloud, Death Speakers, Death Stroke, Death Watch, Death Wind,Death Wish. Deathrender, Death's Approach, Death's Duet, and Kiss of Death, and pretty much anything with death in the name. Yet more;

Battle Screech, Chaos Lord, Reign of Chaos, Clinging Darkness, Dark Bargain, Darkest Hour, Darkness, Scion of Darkness, Tombfire, Burnt Offering, Soul Bleed, Soul Burn, Soul Feast, Soulblast, and Soulshriek.

You can run Soul Burn in Sen Triplets. The words of colors is much different then the actual mana symbol. From what I believe you can run it in Sen Triplets

Other spells that function like Exsanguinate are Drain Life and Soul Burn , if you're looking for more of that.

Reliquary Tower for Swamp looks like a easy update and will give me 2 anti discarding effects in case I don't get Venser's Journal out. I'm trying to keep the Black mana symbols since those count toward a couple of my drain effects Soul Burn , Consume Spirit , Drain Life .

I might consider swapping Thought Vessel in for Charcoal Diamond . Seems like a fair trade off, especially if I look to add Ad Nauseam .

Ad Nauseam , Cabal Coffers look like easy additions. Why so expensive Coffers???

I absolutely love the buyback of Slaughter in this deck so it's staying in. I am considering the swap of Go for the Throat for Vraska's Contempt though. I won't get to reanimate the creature but sometime it's better to permanently remove a problem.

Plunge into Darkness is made extra Janky in a blue version by adding Laboratory Maniac , also works with other cards that draw when a creature dies. I think Soul Burn is black in identity as there are no red symbols on it (though may want to check Oracle text).

Problem with Glacial Chasm is lost of life does not count as damage (but damage counts as loss of life.

Found some new card ideas today.

Check out Plague of Vermin ! Pricey, but we know where to find .

Platinum Emperion could also be a good combo with Carnival of Souls rather than worrying about the Soulcats. Or Phyrexian Unlife if you're on the combo turn or have a Glacial Chasm out.

Children of Korlis could be a safety net in any version, but imagine this card with The Carousel in motion and Carnival of Souls out! Wow. Don't know how I didn't think of this for the Ghave, Lord of Leaches deck.

Plunge into Darkness ? Janky. probably a way to make the mill work to our advantage for getting combo pieces.

Soul Burn for the version with . Is this usable if your commander doesn't have red in his colours?
