Sol Talisman

Artifact

Suspend 3— (Rather than cast this card from your hand, pay and exile this with three time counters. At the beginning of your upkeep, remove a time counter. When the last is removed, cast this without paying the mana cost.)

Unlife hello there , thank you for your comment. I'll add the first to counterspells that you suggested , you're right.

What kind of mana rocks do you think i should add? Im quite on a budget , at least for now , so i dont want to spend 800 euro worth of cards to be honest ahhaha would Mox Tantalite and Sol Talisman be viable budget choices or are still to slow even for commander?

For something like this, I think you would need to add a set of Sol Talisman to back up lotus bloom. I would put these in over the surgicals myself.

Thanks for the formatting advice! I was wondering if i made a mistake there but I first thought the "Update" Field maybe works different.I updated the update^^ As the Lightning Greaves arrived today, i excluded the Sol Talisman for them. Now I will wait until Sunday :) I will Check out if Path to Exile is doing its thing, otherwise i will replace it with something more versatile - as recommended.

Hello! Not sure if you still work with this deck or have been checking out the newest slivers, but I have other cards to throw out there for consideration.

Realmwalker - Gives knowledge and lets you cast about half your deck from the top.

Nameless Inversion - This is decent removal that still cascades as it is similar to Crib Swap. Just an idea if you wanted more of those... You could cascade right before your turn for the pseudo power nine (or cards below) to make your next turn more explosive than anyone might have expected.

Dimir Signet, Mind Stone, Prismatic Lens, Arcane Signet, Charcoal Diamond, Coldsteel Heart, Corrupted Grafstone, Ebony Fly, Fellwar Stone, Fractured Powerstone, Guardian Idol, Liquimetal Torque, Obsidian Obelisk, Sky Diamond, Star Compass, Talisman of Dominance, Thought Vessel - Those are the viable 2 cmc mana rocks (Everflowing Chalice could also be played for 2 mana, but also scales more into the later stages due to Multikicker) Moonsnare Prototype and Springleaf Drum are 1 cmc but require a creature/artifact which you could tap to produce 1 mana. Sol Talisman and Mox Tantalite are also relative cheap in price.

For Land ramp, there arent that many options in Dimir, but here are the ones I would consider - Lantern of Revealing: 3 cmc Rock, that can ramp later Wayfarer's Bauble: The classic Dreamscape Artist: 2 CMC creature, that turns each card in your hand into Harrow Druidic Satchel: Not guarantees a land but not completely without value Navigation Orb: Bauble but slower Myriad Landscape: Land that fetches 2 Lands

Revel in Riches as an enchantment as is Black Market but that is kinda slow and comes relatively late Those are my suggestions for Ramp. Hope you find them helpful and GL with the deck :)

Looks like a good start. Here some of my thoughts after a quick glance.

Remove Arcane Signet, it's mono-color. I know, you're thinking more mana with the Unwinding Clock, but if that's the case go with Sol Talisman, Dreamstone Hedron, Thran Dynamo, or Hedron Archive.

Remove the 5 CMC counters and go with the simple Counterspell or Cancel instead. You might be waiting for niche moments with the current counters.

I don't see much use for Training Grounds with the creatures you're running, or at least enough to warrant it.

Can't wait to see what you decide to do!

Poolplayer on Fun with Nacatl

Updating to Alpine Meadow was a great call for Wild Nacatl being 3/3 on turn 2 with the right draw and came up quite a bit and with a forest in play ambusher surprised haste goblins on return attacks. I tried putting a plains and mountain alone but the cursed draws would give me those and no forests to power the deck from behind. Evolving Wilds is the cheap way to thin the deck and either Sol Talisman or Mox Tantalite work well by turn 3 to get an advantage without tapping out for artifacts of the same power. I was trying Gift of the Gargantuan but the rate of not drawing land wasn't working well and being stuffed with creatures I couldn't afford to play wasn't working as well as Kodama's Reach.

Anyways, a fun deck. Comments are welcome!!

With the amount of land tutors being available in this deck, have you considered using the Dark Depths + Thespian's Stage combo?

Also, Sol Talisman, Mox Tantalite, and Mox Opal would be good for the deck.
