Retire: Shields of Velis Vel Aphetto Dredging Hive Stirrings

Enleve tes counterspell, vu ton deck tu va etre full tap tout le temps. Aether Vial n'est pas fiable vu la variance des tes créatures. Enleve les creatures qui ne sont pas des Slive/Changeforms. Je ne comprend pas Obelisk of Alara

Il te faut plus de pioche.

Il y a un Sliver qu'il faut que tu enleve, mais je ne te dis pas lequels

Thanks! I'll try to give out my thoughts in those cards:

1. Vesuva - ETB copying a land may be a liability when it's made to copy Griffin Canyon. You'd want to put off on getting canyon out until you are confident you can pull off the combo and eliminate at least 1 player.
2. Wings of Velis Vel/Shields of Velis Vel - these used to be in the deck. However, I've since moved to things that give changeling that are not necessarily single time use spells
3. Elite Arcanist - you really want some specific cards to be in your hand when you cast this one. The problem I see is that Isochron Scepter is a lot better as it is not a creature but alas I had to remove it. It either becomes a removal magnet or you don't have a decent card to imprint it with
4. To Arms! - we really don't animate a lot of lands to make this worth a slot
5. Long-Term Plans/Dizzy Spell - these tutors used to also be in the deck. I just removed them in favor of having more card draw/filtering effects
6. Cerulean Wisps - 1-mana cantrips may be good but I'd want them to do something else other than just replace themselves

Hi, i have created a slightly more defensive variant of my Ur-Dragon deck for testing (The Ur-Dragon: A bit more defensive) that fared much better against your deck in this playtest round. Maybe i had better draw luck this time? Essentially, i just included some of the draw effects you use and brought back my beloved Karrthus, Tyrant of Jund + Shields of Velis Vel combo that can be fetched via Tiamat. To make room i threw out the cards that made it theoretically possible to get a 1st turn commander kill, with a hypotetical God hand of course :D. Maybe this will become the real deck instead.

I know you’ve been trying to use cards you already have on hand, but there are a few cards you may wanna consider picking up: Coveted Prize can be an all star here. Tribal spells work fantastically in a party deck. Two of my favorites that have served me well in my own Party Time upgrade are Cloak and Dagger and Obsidian Battle-Axe. Irregular Cohort and Mage's Attendant can really help fill your party, and Shields of Velis Vel can turn on not only a full party but any tribal synergies you’ve got going on. Hope at least some of that helps. Party on!

Nice list! Some interesting cards I did not consider yet, I'm thinking of buying the precon but was really hoping I could upgrade it to a 7....

I was thinking of adding Night Market Lookout Pulse Tracker Mardu Shadowspear With a Nalia trigger they all hit for 5 for just one mana, only sad two of them are rogue's.

Two permanents that I think will really shine here: Haunted Crossroads Oketra's Monument

One more multi type for two mana you might want to play: Impostor of the Sixth Pride

(while typing this post I also stumbled across Shields of Velis Vel which is probably not playable, but is rather cute as it can be played from the top of the deck and will trigger party when there are 4 creatures in play)

I wanted to say no real quick I was just about to write alot saying it can grab a card that has changeling. For instance it can grab Ego Erasure, Blades of Velis Vel, Nameless Inversion, Shields of Velis Vel, Crib Swap, and Wings of Velis Vel.

Ah, oh shoot, forgot to explain the specifics.

Basically with Haakon out, you can repeatedly spam any of the Changeling instants from your graveyard over and over again provided they don't get exiled or anything. While Nameless Inversion and Crib Swap both provide tangible utility in the form of removal, you also have stuff like Shields of Velis Vel and Blades of Velis Vel at your disposal.

While you're spamming these tribal instants from the grave, you end up triggering Edgar Markov's trigger effect from the Command Zone, creating a 1/1 vampire token every time you do it. Find a way to give yourself infinite mana and a win condition like Goblin Bombardment or Impact Tremors, and now you can use that combo as a viable means to take out your opponents.
