There have been a lot of comments on this deck already, and I admit honestly that I did not read the majority of them. However, this was the most recent deck listed on the Advertise Your EDH Deck thread, so I'll add my two cents anyway, for what it's worth.

Really, though, the only thing I can think of that's not already on your list is that you have plenty enough creature kill capability to successfully run cards like Waning Wurm, Rotting Regisaur, Clackbridge Troll or Yargle, Glutton of Urborg.

Also, I might mention that I've always liked Sudden Death, Deathstroke and the classic Terror and Rend Flesh as removal.

Any special reason for using Rend Flesh rather than Murder? or maybe Murderous Rider

I used to run a very similar deck, but in my experience Maralen is just too fragile. Expunge , Murder , Reckless Spite , Price of Fame , Murderous Cut , Ashes to Ashes , Ob Nixilis's Cruelty , Force of Despair , Never/Return , Sever the Bloodline , Silence the Believers , Cannibalize seem to me to be vastly preferable to Dash Hopes , Eyeblight's Ending , Rend Flesh , Kiku's Shadow , Withering Boon . Does Mindcrank even do anything here without Bloodchief Ascension ?

remember, some things HAVE to go

Lingering Death and Rend Flesh and Chill to the Bone -- there are more refined solutions, such as Doom Blade and Go for the Throat Faster than lingering death and cheaper than rend flesh and chill to the bone. Slaughter Pact also could do the trick

Delirium -- if we're going for simple, this card misses the mark.

Red Elemental Blast -- cheap, and most often it is a blue spell that is the target. But this takes a counterspell slot and is pretty restricted.

Anarchist and Scrivener -- deck has plenty of less specific or cheaper spell recursion options
