king-saproling - Thank you! The idea is there for the deck and I was really wanting it to stay tribal but my feedback from piloting the deck at my LGS so far has been the the deck needs work. Introducing cards like Stoneforge Mystic and similar equipment themed bombshells would definitely ramp up the deck but would remove the synergy that sticking with only cats provides (Raksha Golden Cub, Regal Caracal, Leonin Warleader, Nacatl War-Pride, etc.). I need reowrk this some and tweek it and I think it will start to purrrr.

I really can't add more then, what's already been said on most points.

As far as deck brewing glancing at the deck on your profile your decks lack focus. So, when it comes to cutting cards look at each card ask your self what is your deck trying to and does this card help that goal? If I put a cat lord (like Regal Caracal) how would a card like Shanna, Sisay's Legacy vs say Adorned Pouncer help or if I'm building a deck around card like Sage of Hours how am I going to find it protect it and the other combo parts? "The game has to end", ask your self when brewing how does your deck with and how does each card help do that, its ez just to cramp a deck full of "good stuff" and hope for a win but, normally will never pan out.

As far as what to replace the MTG addiction with well, that's a fully loaded question. If it's the game playing strategy there a lot of great card games (using a 52 playing deck) that are just as fun IMO Yurker is my go to but, a lot of pro poker player play MTG food for thought. Flesh n Blood, Mage wars and Summoner Wars all are close to MTG.

You have lots of cat lords, Feline Sovereign, Kaheera, the Orphanguard, King of the Pride, etc. as well it works with self-modifiers like Loam Lion and Qasali Pridemage the new cat Sovereign Okinec Ahau can permanently +1/+1 counter your cats. Notably missing (in your maybeboard) Regal Caracal would give everyone lifelink too.

Glittering Lynx seems off, the {2} isn't that disruptive for an opponent if it matters. I think you're trying to maximize your MV 1-drop cats, but Arcbound Mouser would give you a second Trained Caracal with upside instead. Lion Sash is also nice, but it is MV 2-drop.

The other new cat would be good: Kutzil, Malamet Exemplar, he could replace something like a vanilla Leonin Skyhunter or a mana sync like Bronzehide Lion or a really high cmc creature with low value like Jareth, Leonine Titan who probably is a win-more at MV6 that won't turn a loss into a win, really he MV7 to activate. Card in that MV slot has to be extremely impactful. Cats like Scrounging Bandar also work well with this new cat. Limiting interaction on your turn especially flashing in +3 spells (Indomitable Might) is really nice.

Leonin Relic-Warder is nice for controlling artifacts/enchantments and providing another MV2 cat.

Everybody Lives! gives another Heroic Intervention type effect.

Farseek is MV2 but I'm betting Harvest Season probably does more work at MV3. 35 lands seems like a lot for a low curve, maybe some low MV ramp like Talisman of Unity. Boseiju, Who Endures is a good forest but it's stupid expensive.

Rancor is a really nice trample/evasion enabler. Or like a Shadowspear or something which also helps out with Indestructibles blocking your cats. Pridemalkin is on a cat body, but don't like the MV3.

Mirri's Guile is okay, but a bit of a trap, way more value at MV2 with Sylvan Library

Song of the Dryads I get for locking out a commander but some instant interaction like Stroke of Midnight are usually more utility in more situations, might be a meta card though.

Eladamri's Call will bring up consistency to draw the finisher cats.

Yeah can grow your cats fast, really needs Pridemalkin static ability to be a strong cat.

You can build around him Scrounging Bandar can get you some additional counters from Sovereign Okinec Ahau and you can move them around, Steppe Lynx, Skyhunter Strike Force, Regal Caracal, Qasali Pridemage, Pride Sovereign, Kaheera, the Orphanguard among others, anything that modifies it's attack so that you maximize your +1 counters with every swing, quite a different build than I have but it can be impactful with other cats, and The Ozolith of course lol.

I think this is a fun and interesting challenge to make lifegain cats good in modern. But first thing you should do is focus to clarify the identity of the deck. Leaning into Cats let's you better utilize a great lord. But you want multiple small cats maube tokens as there are a couple good ones to later pump for a lethal swing or tempo your opponent out makeing spot removal worse. Or lifegain which can play the Soul Warden effects and other noncat lifegain payoffs like your Ajani's Pridemate

Suggestions: I assume you are trying to stay budget most of these are a couple dollars. There might be a few more expensive cards that could be great with some deck building concessions like going green for more cats and Collected Company or focusing 1 2 and 3 drops and play Aether Vial

Kaheera, the Orphanguard pump cats. Can also be used as companion with some deck building restrictions

Leonin Arbiter All hail CAT JESUS. Seriously. It's a great card to slow combo decks otherwise it's a 2/2 body for 2. Worst case it deserves a Sideboard slot

Leonin Vanguard 1 drop. Gains 1 life a turn when you have 3 total creatures great curve starter for a cat deck

Regal Caracal create 2 cats. Then all your cats gain lifelink. Synergies for days

Ajani, Strength of the Pride - make Ajani's Pridemate ultimate is not impossible to clear the way so you can swing for game. +gains life. All great things.

Sideboard tech

Lion Sash graveyard hate on a cat. Or pump another creature

Felidar Retreat stick this vs control and it can take over a game

Seht's Tiger 4 drop neat vs damage based combos. Interesting but not great.

Fushiii - Me again! If you are looking for inspiration, here are some suggested decks...Personally I think that the most competitive cat tribal deck I have seen was Kaheera Cats and Chariots :3 from NonetheWeisser. I never tried it but just the look of the deck is very aggressive with many ways that creature boost themselves naturally or with some cheap enchantments. The guy makes sick decks...To toot my own horn, my own take on cats was very different as I focused on the token production with Feline Feelings. I played that deck a lot of MTGO in modern and it faired pretty well actually with a solid win rate. What I am getting at is you can go a lot of ways with cats and they are underrated I feel like in terms of how powerful they actually are and I would need more of an idea of what direction you are wanting your deck to take before I could make any relevant suggestions.

In terms of lords, there is King of the Pride for sheer pump, Feline Sovereign for artifact/enchantment hate, Kaheera, the Orphanguard of which you can have as your companion if you meet the conditions which is pretty slick...pretty much allows you to play 61 cards instead of 60!, and Regal Caracal who is great but pretty expensive for modern. So lots of good stuff to chose from!
