ok, I just play against my friend with the dragon deck and I think it might need some more mana producers or cheap fear.
His commander is Atarka, World Render, and here are some cards that I now know are in his deck: Foe-Razer Regent, Furnace Whelp, Rapacious Dragon, Atarka Monument, Frontier Siege, Vandalblast, Sweltering Suns, Talisman of Impulse, Akoum Hellkite, Harbinger of the Hunt, Dream Pillager, Sol Ring, Dragonmaster Outcast, Dragonspeaker Shaman, Savage Ventmaw, Dragonlord's Servant, Tyrant's Familiar, Thunderbreak Regent, and Drakuseth, Maw of Flames.

No, she doesn't shut down shocklands. Paying life for your shockland is not a trigger. It does not use the stack, you cannot react to it, just like you can't react to the creature type being named with a Cavern of Souls. Because the oracle text says "As ... enters the battlefield" not "When ... enters the battlefield".
It looks like the people defending her never played with Tocatli Honor Guard, Hushbringer, Torpor Orb or Hushwing Gryff and have no idea what the oracle text actually means. And Norn is worse, since it's every permanent entering the battlefield, not just creatures. Like Strict Proctor.
TypicalTimmy I looked at your Miirym deck, here's the "occasional benefits" Elesh Norn is actually going to shut down or interfere with:
That's a lot of synergy, ramp, carddraw and wincons shut down by a commander. About 1/3rd of all your nonland cards. And that deck is going to have a hard time removing her too, by the looks of it.
Now there are a few cards that get better playing against Norn: bouncelands like Boros Garrison don't return lands to hand anymore, Kroxa, Titan of Death's Hunger doesn't need to sacrifice itself, but effects like those are not enough to catch up with the Norn player.
What's this "no game-winning effects in white" everyone is talking about? Cathars' Crusade will end the game in a hurry, especially if you pair it up with something like Blessed Sanctuary. Double up on every O-ring effect. Stonehorn Dignitary will keep you alive, especially if you play Teleportation Circle and Conjurer's Closet, as one definitely will in this deck. Felidar Retreat and Emeria Shepherd with all your Land Tax effects will snowball into an enormous boardstate easily. Solitude will rule the table. Sun Titan is still one of the most played white creatures for a reason. For carddraw that white wasn't supposed to have, Spirited Companion, Carrier Pigeons, Combat Thresher, Farsight Adept, Inspiring Overseer, Mentor of the Meek, Priest of Ancient Lore, Resistance Squad, Roving Harper, Rumor Gatherer, Search Party Captain, Skyscanner, Thraben Inspector, Wall of Omens all double up with Norn. Because everyone memed that white is a bad colour, nobody seems to know what the color has to offer. It could already hold its own without such a saltmine of a card for the command zone, and if you need this middle finger to half the popular deck archetypes to even consider building it, you do you, but prepare to be avoided.

I was running Rapacious Dragon, Shivan Devastator, and Leyline Tyrant. I do like that more dragons protect from sac effects like Plaguecrafter but in a deck with card disadvantage like counter spells and looting, I found the utility of instants and sorceries that have multiple modes more helpful.
If I ever want to change up the deck I would totally go that route!

I think in a more casual dragon blink deck, Galazeth is just fine, but Rapacious Dragon is strictly better unless you run more instants/sorceries.
Murktide Regent just isn't good in a blink deck, as all of its value disappears upon blinking it.

Miirym, Dragon Mommy

Terror of the Peaks is awe-inspiring in Miirym. Pretty pricey though.
Other than that, Dragonlord's Servant, Atarka, World Render, Dragonlord Atarka, Tanazir Quandrix, and Rapacious Dragon seem like good fits as well.
As far as tips for dealing with Queza, what's the goal of the deck? What is it doing efficiently that you want to be able to combat?

I'm in the process of building a Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm deck, but I'd like some advice. Does Imoti, Celebrant of Bounty fit in, or does it just waste a spot another dragon could take? My thought is that that you cast a 6 cmc card like Niv-Mizzet, Parun copy it, cascade into Something like Rapacious Dragon, copy it, and cascade into something like Dragonborn Champion and copy it. 6 dragons for 6 mana in a dream scenario. But is Imoti reliable enough for the deck, or is she better replaced with another copyable dragon?

I'd cut Irenicus's Vile Duplication because it is a Sorcery.
With someone like Altered Ego, she ETB as a clone of a Dragon you control, but because she's non-token, Miirym copies her. So, for example, you copy Rapacious Dragon to get some Treasure. Altered Ego ETB and you get 2x treasure, and Miirym copies her to make 2x more Treasure, for a total of 4.
With Irenicus's Vile Duplication, being a sorcery, it ETB as a token already. Therefore, Miirym doesn't copy it.
