Enchantment

Whenever a creature deals damage to you, destroy it.

I would like yo suggest the inclusion of No Mercy. The goal should be them hurting each other - not you.

Now for my second favorite color.

I absolutely love Prison Term I put this in every deck that has white.

The player with Impact Tremors doesnt want to see this next one. Michiko Konda, Truth Seeker, this card is kinda like No Mercy that's another one I must add to my black decks). There is a white version of No Mercy I forget what it's called. It doesn't destroy them like No Mercy. It instead turns them into "statues" sorta.

This next one whould not be good enough if it wasn't for flash. Temporal Isolation

Righteous Aura is soo frickin good. It gets around hexproof, ward and shroud.

Thank you for your patience. I thought there was a deck that you told me to comment on that I have yet to comment on, my mind is playing tricks on me. Anyways....

Why do you need so many blockers? Is your meta more battle cruiser? I personally like (instant speed) removal but it really depends on your meta and power level. No Mercy has always been hit or miss for me. Its good because it's a deterrent, but sometimes people will just stall out for 1-2 turns (which is nice) but then just overrun you and the trigger falls of the stack as you die.

Alternatively, another blocker with flying could be Bitterblossom. Should you wish, you could add a Contamination to synergize with it, although it might be a tad too anti-synergistic given you run coffers, lake, nykthos.

Mausoleum Secrets might always be worth considering given that you run a bunch of creatures. Do keep in mind you can only tutor for black cards though.

Skullclamp is not half bad to get some return on your creatures. Is also nice with bitterblossom.

Lastly, a fringe suggestion is Awaken the Erstwhile. You make a bunch of creatures that you can use to draw more cards. You can mess with opposing tutors (potentially).

NV_1980 cards like michiko means opponents outright kill you, or just move it off the board with little impact, same with No Mercy. Advokist could fit but I don't want to really benefit my opponents that way, and no room.

I really really like this version. Cunning Rhetoric is such a neat card. Haven't seen it before. It goes great with cards like No Mercy. Absolutely 2 thumbs up!

You have a lot of spot removal. Interaction is great. Have you thought of swapping out one spot removal (or better yet, Thieve's tools) for a more useful utility spell, Imp's Mischief? It can redirect targeted removal, draw, extra turns and as a special bonus, "counter" counter spells. Would suck for them to remove your main wincon with a naturalize or something.

Hi,

This looks nice. I would point out though, that your 2nd method of winning (attacking with Raine) is made more difficult because of the following:

  • You've only included two spells (three if you count the wipe) that can deal with taxes/restrictions on your attacks (Ghostly Prison, No Mercy, Propaganda, Sphere of Safety, Ensnaring Bridge etc.). Considering such taxation is rather popular amongst players AND the lack of tutors in the deck to find your destructive spells, this will probably be an issue. I'd therefore recommend to add more stuff that can deal with these cards like Heliod's Intervention, Banishing Light, Grasp of Fate, etc. In case you don't run into any taxes, these spells are all great to use against other stuff too, so they won't be wasted slots in any way.
  • There's no protection for Raine in the deck. So every attack he does against players that have blockers, you can pretty much guarantee that he will be a primary target and will get killed. Adding some cards that ensure his survival during attacks therefore wouldn't hurt. Specifically, I'm thinking Bastion Protector, Reconnaissance, Dolmen Gate or maybe just something like Darksteel Plate.

Hope this helped, good luck with the brew.

In this example where both of the effects are from triggered abilities (abilities that start with one of the words "when", "whenever" or "at"), the answer depends on who controls them and whose turn it is.

If No Mercy and Dissipation Field are controlled by the same player, that player gets to choose. If multiple triggered abilities controlled by the same player are trying to go onto the stack at the same time, that player puts them onto the stack in the order of their choice. Whichever one ends up on top of the stack will resolve first and then the rest will follow in order. In your example the second trigger to resolve won't do anything since the creature it would have affected has already changed zones, causing the effect to lose track of it.

If No Mercy and Dissipation Field are controlled by different players, then the active player (the player whose turn it is) will put their trigger onto the stack first and the non-active player will put their trigger onto the stack on top of the other one. This means the non-active player's trigger will resolve first.
