I like running Nettle Sentinel and Birchlore Rangers as they can generate a ton of mana together. Quirion Ranger lets you re-use Priest of Titania or if you add Timberwatch Elf. Also, its blue but there are some elves(Birchlore Rangers included) that generate blue mana so Distant Melody can draw like 10 cards relatively easily. It also gets even scarier with Lys Alana Huntmaster.

Well if you are insistent on staying mono green I would say you need at least 4 more land. Even though you have mana dorks you want to make sure you have at least a couple of lands in your hand. One land I would recommend is Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx, War Room, Path of Ancestry, and Scavenger Grounds. As for what to drop for those lands (or more forest) I would drop Gilt-Leaf Archdruid (you only have 12 Druids and 1 druid maker of 100 cards highly unlikely you will have enough druids in play), Wolverine Riders (too slow for what he does), Birchlore Rangers (you already have much much stronger mana dorks), and probably Dwynen's Elite (just not very good at what it is doing).

other creatures to consider putting in the deck over a couple of others. Galadhrim Brigade you mentioned lords, Lys Alana Huntmaster (better token producer than the Dwynen's Elite), Wellwisher (a staple in every elf deck usually), and Ivy Lane Denizen (comboes exceedingly well with your commander, Joraga Warcaller, Haldir, and Lorien Lieutenant).

Also you are missing a bit of interaction.

If you want to go wide I recommend considering either Lathril, Blade of the Elves (would give you some fun and evil mana outlets, and would let you use your Tyvar to greater affect) or Rhys the Redeemed (for truly going wide with an obscene amount of tokens) and again I got more if you want me to keep going with the suggestions let me know.

I recently added 2x Nylea, God of the Hunt, 4x Lys Alana Huntmaster , and 2x Joraga Warcaller. Seems like the deck is still playing very fast and still having no problem getting everything out and setup by turn 5 easily. I am working on a sideboard to include some creatures who can block filying, destory artifacts/enchanments, and a few other things as well if needed. I will get that post in the next day or 2 as well.

Okay so I'm new to deckbuilding, especially for EDH so I'm just wondering if anyone has any useful/practical suggestions for this deck. I thought Abomination of Llanowar was a cool card, so I wanted to build around that concept of getting a lot of elves onto the field and my graveyard to really boost its power and toughness.

One thing I'll mention is that, with the exception of cards that are already present in the deck, I don't want to spend more then $3-5 on a single card. So keeping all of this in mind, any suggestions?

Commander: - Abomination of Llanowar

Planeswalkers: - Freyalise, Llanowar's Fury - Tyvar Kell

Creatures: - Elvish Eulogist - Elvish Archdruid - Imperious Perfect - Lys Alana Huntmaster - Immaculate Magistrate - Marwyn, the Nurturer - Elvish Visionary - Shaman of the Pack - Lathril, Blade of the Elves - Dwynen, Gilt-Leaf Daen - Beast Whisperer - Timberwatch Elf - Elvish Mystic - Canopy Tactician - Poison-Tip Archer - Skemfar Avenger - Skemfar Shadowsage - Wolverine Riders - Ruthless Winnower - Wellwisher - Golgari Findbroker - Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord - Rhys the Exiled - Nightshade Harvester - Gilt-Leaf Winnower - Elvish Doomsayer - Storrev, Devkarin Lich - Nadier's Nightblade - Fyndhorn Elves - Llanowar Elves

Instants: - Putrefy - Golgari Charm - Murder - Village Rites - Grisly Salvage - Wrap in Vigor - Cast Down - Malakir Rebirth  Flip - Ghastly Demise - Infuse with Vitality

Sorcery: - Cultivate - Rampant Growth - Eyeblight Massacre - Shamanic Revelation - Casualties of War - Dig Up - Victimize - Sign in Blood - Spark Harvest - Diabolic Tutor - Deadly Brew - Bone Shards - Elvish Promenade

Artifacts: - Sol Ring - Arcane Signet - Commander's Sphere

Enchantments: - Elderfang Venom - Moldervine Reclamation - Prowess of the Fair

Lands: - Evolving Wilds - Command Tower - Path of Ancestry - Llanowar Wastes - Jungle Hollow - Skemfar Elderhall - Golgari Guildgate - Tainted Wood - Necroblossom Snarl - Myriad Landscape - Foul Orchard - Darkmoss Bridge - Forest x13 - Swamp x13

Love the deck +1!

Some advice;

First, tyvar kell is technically golgari, so it's illegal unless your playgroup is chill with it.

Secondly, I think you should try and move away from the some of your Planeswalkers, into more elves. Nissa, Who Shakes the World and Nissa, Voice of Zendikar have very little synergy with your deck, and should be replaced with elves like Dwynen's Elite and Lys Alana Huntmaster.

Some of your creatures also seem to be less powerful then you would otherwise want, such as Llanowar Mentor, Joraga Treespeaker, andKaysa. I would add Selvala, Heart of the Wilds, Wolverine Riders, and Canopy Tactician in their place.

Elf decks generally tend to run less than 30 lands, as there's more than enough ramp to compensate. I'd recommend taking out Oran-Rief, the Vastwood, Myriad Landscape, and 2 forests, and adding cards like Crop Rotation, Skyshroud Claim, Herald's Horn, and Lightning Greaves.

In my elf deck, I don't particularly like ramp cards that make lands hit the battlefield tapped, as I find them too slow. I don't know how fast you want your deck, but I'd recommend taking out at least Explosive Vegetation, and adding something like Harrow.

My ezuri deck is Ezuri's Exuberant Elfball Extravaganza, if you need any ideas for other elves to slot in.

Yeah i’d say playing the full playset of Collected Company could be a good move. Though I do see a lot of elf decks running Chord of Calling because being able to fetch specific elves is often very useful for quick wins.

To address your specific card questions:

  • Garruk Wildspeaker is still slow and assuming you’ll be able to ult him without issues isn’t a foolproof plan. Ezuri, Renegade Leader is just a much more reliable and powerful card, so we’re better-off searching that up, than messing around with with Garruk.

  • Lys Alana Huntmaster does make a lot of tokens, but doesn’t interact well at all with the Collected Company you’re running. Aside from that, the card being 4cmc makes it awkward to get out early - and in general Elvish Warmaster is just a much stronger card in that it comes out early, still makes tokens, and provides a wincon.

  • Imperious Perfect doesn’t offer much because it’s “just” a lord. Other elf lords provide other things, namely mana or forestwalk (Elvish Champion, Elvish Archdruid), or some form of card advantage (Elvish Clancaller), but this thing just provides really slow token production. Elves are hyper aggressive so if they’re tapping they want it to be for an attack, or a meaningful advantage.

I think the current weak spots are

  • both the planeswalkers should be the first to go, imo. Neither help advance your plan in any meaningful way. Nissa is only really gaining you life (you’re an aggro deck, so who cares), and Garruk just provides inadequate ramp & 3/3s (by the tine you cast him, you should already have tons of mana, and the 3/3s aren’t useful)

  • Elvish Promenade and Harmonize aren’t hugely great either, imo. Good elves are preferable to tokens, and Harmonize is kinda clunky.

  • Lys Alana Huntmaster & Imperious Perfect are both slow and not hugely impactful, imo. Also the first one gets missed by Collected Company so that doesn’t help.

  • Essence Warden - you’re an aggro deck life doesn’t matter

  • Copperhorn Scout doesn’t really help all that much
