cardcollector1 on Does Kediss multiply Silas Renn's …

Hi, consider running a commander deck with Silas Renn, Seeker Adept and Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar as commanders and playing with multiple players. Suppose that Silas successfully deals combat damage to an opponent and Kediss is on the field. Kediss' ability will trigger causing other opponents to also take damage, now X opponents take damage. Does this also mean that Silas' ability also triggers X times, so that X artifacts can be cast from the graveyard?

I expect this to be true, but then again the extra damage from Kediss doesn't count as commander damage.

I have Karlach, Fury of Avernus and Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar to help with What Feather wants to do, but as good as extra combats are, they ARE kinda pricey. I WAS kinda thinking about Goldspan Dragon or Balefire Liege, but right now since I am running the Guilty Conscience + Phyrexian Vindicator Combo, I have to devout a slot to that aura. Since I don't have too many ETBs, I thought it would be good to change-up the equipment that I have so Instead of ramping, I can hit harder or tutor, with say Sunforger. I have also been possibly toying with The Reaver Cleaver as a buff AND something that makes treasures, which means my mana can carry over from turn to turn.

I have been also trying to put in Explosive Entry and Sudden Breakthrough but I am just not sure what to cut.

haydensmith423 Looks nice!

I would cut Bloodthirster. It doesn't untap Tetsuo and is a wasted slot for 6 mana imo. You already have enough extra combat cards. Jin-Gitaxias, Progress Tyrant is also too expensive, yes the payoff is great but you would be better off to run something like Propaganda for more protection from go-wide decks, after all, you are not running lots of creatures and are going to be open for attackers. I am also not sure about Kaldra Compleat, sounds good on paper but has an high equipment cost and 7 CMC. You could slot in Blackblade Reforged, which can make him real strong.

Chandra's Ignition is a must-have card, can finish off opponnents when tetsuo has infect or you can end up gaining lots of life if he has lifelink.

Also have a look at Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar. Why not hurt the whole table if you are at it?

Another crucial card you are missing in this deck is Hammer of Nazahn. Not only does tetsuo gain indestructibe, but you ignore equipment costs. It is a huuuge advantage.

You can also go infinite with Sword of Hearth and Home if you have Akki Battle Squad out, it is a great equipment and one of the cheaper "Sword of X and Y" cards.

Inevitable Betrayal is also one of those suspend casts which you can cast for "free". It is a fun card so definitely include it if you find the space. Imagine stealing a Blightsteel Colossus from someone or an Eldrazi.

I am also not sure if Sword of Truth and Justice is a good idea to run in this deck. The card gives you protection from red, which makes it unable to be equiped with cards like Embercleave. The payoff is decent, can make tetsuo pretty beefy in the long run.

Finally, Jhoira, Ageless Innovator and Pact Weapon are nice to haves in this deck. Cheat out equipment and cheat death. Also maybe cut Solemn Simulacrum and slot in Sword of the Animist. You are playing an equipment deck so why not go for an equipment for ramp instead.

You can check out my list if you feel like it, would appreciate your opinion! I went for cheap equipments and try to win through commander damage and/or infect. Not really that much different from your list. If you have questions, feel free to hit me up :D.

I realized you have the Blazing Sunsteel + Brash Taunter combo in here, nifty! Combined with Loxodon Warhammer, you now have an infinitely large Auntie, but then again, you can just kill the table with the combo.

A card I don't understand in here, as cool as it is, is Obstinate Familiar. Mind to elaborate its uses for the deck?

A little suggestion I recently addedto my own red Voltron: Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar scyrockets your voltron's damage output.

I'd love to offer suggestions, but hope I can get a bit more of your experience and insight into what you think isn't coming together?

I've played Voltron in a few different forms via Tuvasa the Sunlit, Mazzy, Truesword Paladin, and Brokkos, Apex of Forever. I noticed that the most successful games that I had were ones where I locked onto a single player, usually whoever was playing the most potentially volatile commander, and I'd only attack them.

If Rog is one of your primary Voltron targets, you could run Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar as a way to hit the whole table. Additionally both Valduk, Keeper of the Flame and Kazuul's Toll Collector could be Voltron targets, since both can hold equipment well.

There are a couple of cards from White Equipment voltron strats that I'm surprised you aren't currently running in Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist and Leonin Shikari.

Lastly, I think you could run a couple more 2 mana rocks
