I don't know what your thoughts are on basic land art but I think that they can be that final piece of the puzzle when driving home a deck's theme. I'd definitely recommend checking out Throne of Eldraine's basic islands and swamps, namely this Island and this Swamp. Shadowmoor is another plane with a lot of spooky basic lands. This Island and this Swamp both fit really well here, too! Any of these will definitely add to the deck's spookiness!

As for actual recommendations, I'd recommend cutting Dimir Guildgate for the new Contaminated Aquifer from Dominaria United. It has basic land types which makes it a definite upgrade over the guildgate. Taking a quick glance at EDHREC, Intellect Devourer seems to be super popular in Tasha decks (a witch needs a familiar?) as does Talent of the Telepath. Sedgemoor Witch is also another witch and one that synergizes really well with instants and sorceries. I definitely recommend this one as she does great work in my Sengir/Kediss partner deck!

So I know you dislike this but I would definitely add Thassa's Oracle + Demonic Consultation or Tainted Pact. They are wincons that can just steal games after your opponents have used their resources trying to stop someone else doing the same thing. Demonic/Tainted can also help you find a piece to your combo if youre just missing one thing.

Another thing would be Cultivator Colossus + a bounce land such as Dimir Aqueduct. If lotus cobra is on the field its not techincally infinite mana but it will let you draw your entire deck + the cobra mana will let you play your combo pieces or simply draw your deck into thassas.

Intellect Devourer is also a huge disruption card that will generate tons of advantage for yourself especially if you can flicker/bounce it.
