PaulMuadDib on Judge tower

I pulled a few from manaless dredge because they can be confusing.
Narcomoeba -- This is a good one to watch for with the mill effects you have
Salvage Titan -- recurrence from graveyard, could easily be missed
Vengevine -- another classic recurrence from graveyard
Prized Amalgam -- could be easy to miss it leaving graveyard with these other graveyard creatures
Sword of the Meek -- ditto

Raging River -- confusing attack enchantment
Launch the Fleet -- strive targeting effect
Well of Knowledge -- conditional effect plus card draw
Night Soil -- this one exiles the two creatures as a cost, might be worth weirdness
Hoarder's Greed -- choice + draw cards
Vodalian Illusionist -- phasing
Shimmering Efreet -- more phasing
Chandra, Pyromaster -- I noticed you didn't add any planeswalkers, here's a random suggestion
Yawgmoth's Will -- more recurrence from graveyard
Balduvian Shaman -- turns a white enchantment to colorshift and add cumulative upkeep
Tombstone Stairwell -- creates creatures to aid in confusing rules
Panglacial Wurm -- classic judge's tower card, once you search a library you have to cast it
Hexdrinker -- slightly confusing level up ability plus possible "protection from everything" ability

Yes, the undying loop requires haste

Nature's Chosen is used primarily on Tayam but really any white creature. You then use that enchanted creature to untap Gaea's Cradle for the most part, as Cradle is a core aspect of the deck.

Whenever you have a chance to tutor, your first targets should always be either Wall of Roots or Gaea's Cradle depending on your hand.

Another example of how powerful Gaea's Cradle is, theres a loop with Sylvan Safekeeper where you can replay Cradle for more and more mana as long as you have the counters to supply this loop, for example with Leyline of Abundance or Hexdrinker

Since you're still well under budget, I'd consider replacing the dryads and the 3rd legendary yorvo with a set of Hexdrinkers. They scale well into the late game and can't be ignored by your opponent. Plus they're down to around $5 each since a secret lair printing. They're worth including, trust me.

Hey mememan3310. First off, welcome back!

Some amount of removal is always necessary. Combo and Flying can be tough match-ups for Mono Black without enough discard/removal. 3-4 Fatal Push and 1-2 Murderous Rider are good options with 1-2 copies of Infernal Grasp I like 6-8 hard removal spells as Mono Black is typically a Mid-Range deck. Don't sleep on Gelatinous Cube either. I've stolen plenty of games with that card.

I would stick with 4 Duress and probably cut Agonizing Remorse since the only thing you really need to hit with discard in Mono-black are Non-creature spells. If you want something more versatile, Thoughtseize is your best option.

Sword-Point Diplomacy is a cute card draw spell, but they probably just let you draw the lands or irrelevant cards, (i.e. creature removal against planeswalkers). I personally prefer Sorin the Mirthless or Reckoner Bankbuster for card draw. Unwilling Ingredient is another pet favorite of mine although probably not what you should be running.

I know a lot of people run Evolved Sleeper The card just doesn't resonate with me. It often dies to removal after you've already sunk your mana into it. It reminds me of Hexdrinker in that it can be great if you max it out but getting there uninterrupted is difficult to pull off. I prefer Concealing Curtains  Flip and Knight of the Ebon Legion in the 1-drop spot.

Gray Merchant of Asphodel or Invoke Despair are two really solid finishers in Mono-Black. If you can swing Liliana of the Veil and Sheoldred, the Apocalypse you won't be disappointed.

There are so many good cards in Mono-Black that it is tough to squeeze everything in sometimes. 22 Lands seems too low. A single Takenuma, Abandoned Mire, Field of Ruin, and Hive of the Eye Tyrant are worth looking at as utility lands. I'd try to get 24-25 lands in there since most of the powerful Mono-Black spells fall in the 3+ MV range.

I do think Hexdrinker could fit in here I’d love to fit a Sheoldred, the Apocalypse as well.

ScOoze adds so much utility with its targeted exile ability I can’t imagine ever putting it on the side. The side right now is just testing slots anyway nothing on there is guaranteed a long term slot.

Believe it or not with 24 lands which is great for Dark Confidant the mana base is pretty shaky as is just because of the inclusion of the 2 white shocks for Damn. I agree that this deck could run on a lower curve just fine but what would I even cut?

Have you thought of Hexdrinker main board instead of scooze? Maybe put the ooze in the sideboard?
