Choose target creature card in a graveyard that was put there from the battlefield this turn. Put that card onto the battlefield under your control.

Cards I'd suggest cutting Necropolis Regent Teysa Karlov Nighthawk ScavengerVampire Nighthawk

Cards I'd suggest finding room for

Tutors like Forerunner of the Legion if you don't like the usual ones.

Mass reanimation like Twilight's Call Living Death or even Patriarch's Bidding I feel mass reanimation and using aristocrats to win on the spot is the most ideal way to win in this type of deck. Always run some if you plan to win with death triggers.

Smaller reanimation Victimize Grim Return ReanimateExhume Mikaeus, the Unhallowed Thrilling Encore

More aristocrats Sir Konrad, the Grim Zulaport Cutthroat

Specifically for Edgar Markov I'd run some sort of Xtra combat spell like Waves of Aggression just so he is the finisher he is if you need to cast him.

Rather than any of those cards that return a creature from graveyard to hand try these: Blood for Bones, Animate Dead, Grim Return, or maybe even Ashen Powder.

Hey zapyourtumor ! Thanks for the great tips already added some to the deck here.

I replaced Fetid Imp with Scourge of the Skyclaves . It fits the cheap creature place better and is a demon so not only helps the priests to summon more demons but also helps with Mark of the Oni . I also think he goes great with Vexing Devil , Blood Crypt and Spawn of Mayhem . Dark Confidant would be perfect but it is too expensive. Even the scourge is a bit expensive to add to the physical deck right now but I'll save up for it and in time I will get it, maybe someday I'll get my hands in some of that dark wizard.

About Mark of the Oni I understand what you are saying but I love the card. It is really fun to play with it so I'll not remove it despite the drawback it has. Regarding Grim Return it is also just a fun card if I get to combo with Archfiend of Depravity (or Desecration Demon you suggested and cast it on my opponent's end turn to take over one of his creatures, or combine it with removal to take one of his creatures for me, so that being said I liked the ideia of having Sin Prodder because, besides the draw help, it seems like a easy way to help me cast Rakdos, Lord of Riots and goes well with it later either.

Thanks for the tip about Lightning Bolt , fits better in the deck than Go for the Throat . I just don't quite understand why you prefer Fatal Push to terminate. As I see it is just +1 mana cost for a more solid removal but I might be missing something so if you could detail more on your thoughts about it I would appreciate it.

Finnally, after altering the virtual version of the deck I finished with 22 lands. Kind of on the fence on keeping the 3rd Rakdos, Lord of Riots or the 2nd Lord of the Void instead of a 23rd land card. What do you think?

I had Master of Cruelties in the main deck at first because I really like it too. Thanks again for your suggestions, really appreciate it

Cool concept! Here are some of my initial thoughts and comments after reading through the list a few times.

I really don't like Blood Speaker. A 4 mana 3/2 vanilla that tutors a demon to hand for 4 mana everytime - if it let you tutor one onto the battlefield it might actually be playable. I would cut all of these.

The main issues I see with the deck are your disruption package. I would add more efficient removal like Lightning Bolt and Fatal Push over a lot of your Go for the Throats and Terminates (I'd leave 1 Terminate for Murktide decks). Grim Return doesn't seem super great either.

I'd also include hand disruption in a playset of Inquisition of Kozilek, since I assume Thoughtseize is out of your price range. Discard is just a staple in any black midrange deck like this. While these cards might be a little more expensive than the other cards in the deck, Bolt/Push/Inquisition are all modern staples that can slot into most red/black decks and are unlikely to lose their value anytime soon.

Mark of the Oni is cute, so if you really have fun with it in the deck then of course that's fine, it just doesn't seem very good because the best time to drop it is earlier in the game to survive and you can't really play it early game. The only cheap demons I could find are Dream Devourer and Scourge of the Skyclaves which could slot in if you want to keep Mark of the Oni. Only run Scourge if you are running a playset of bolt though. If you have the money for Scourge I'd definitely get it, although it's pretty expensive.

Since you have Skirsdag High Priest, you probably need some lower costed creatures. While Fetid Imp fits the theme, its really bad. I'd cut it. Honestly something like Dark Confidant would be great here since you can tap it to Skirsdag and it gives you some much needed draw power, but it's really expensive. I can't really think of any other good 1-2 cmc black creatures that fit the hell theme (except asmor but she doesn't count lol), but there are definitely some good ones out there.

Some other devils/demons are Sin Prodder (need that draw engine?), Desecration Demon, which gets really brutal with Archfiend of Depravity, and Doom Whisperer. I'm sad that Master of Cruelties probably doesn't fit here since he's my favorite demon.

To stay more in black, I would consider some sort of vampire sacrifice, counters, and/or lifedrain strategy. Your black cards that could work well in such a deck would be Ayli, Eternal Pilgrim , Embodiment of Agonies , Kambal, Consul of Allocation , Knight of the Ebon Legion , Mortician Beetle , Souls of the Faultless , Castigate , Disentomb , Gerrard's Verdict , Revival / Revenge , Despark , and Grim Return . Most of the other black cards are at least playable as well. The only two I'd cut in most circumstances are Underworld Dreams and In Garruk's Wake . The former needs more build-around while the latter just costs too much to be a consistent boardwipe.

Cards I'd look at adding for such a build might be Gatekeeper of Malakir , Anowon, the Ruin Sage , Sangromancer , Dictate of Erebos , Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet , Victim of Night , Indulgent Aristocrat , Pawn of Ulamog , Grim Haruspex , Silversmote Ghoul , Yahenni, Undying Partisan , Vampire Nighthawk , Vampire of the Dire Moon , Malakir Cullblade , Blood Artist , Urge to Feed , Feast of Blood , Heliod, Sun-Crowned , Archangel of Thune , Cruel Celebrant , Drana's Emissary , Indulging Patrician , Malakir Bloodwitch , Marauding Blight-Priest , Sanctum Seeker , Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose , and Pious Evangel  Flip.

As a side note, to go infinite with Sanguine Bond , Vizkopa Guildmage , or Vito, the card you need is actually Exquisite Blood which is unfortunately quite expensive.

Any thoughts on Malakir Rebirth  Flip and/or Grim Return? Both would allow you to recur Nev after blowing the board for a lot of zombie value.

MrKillStar thank for your feedback. Some of those cards I actually considered but other's didn't even cross my mind, let's break it down.

Massacre Wurm is actually one that I tottally forgot about, it does fit well in the deck, gotta figure out what to cut tho, it was hard enough already had to cut around 20 cards before posting the changes to the deck...

Liliana of the Dark Realms has been in the deck before, several times, I do like her but when it comes to practical terms it does give me 1 or 2 swamps but my table never allows me to ult her, the few times I was able to ult her I won the game soon after and they know they can't let that happen, so I decided to remove her considering most times I play her to die next turn.

Lake of the Dead is nice, and I considered it before, but for the price it costs I'd rather not add it, I don't have the money for it.

Grim Return has been in the deck since it's first version, this is the only version of the deck where I actually cut it out, because I realized altho the card is good most of the times it would just be in my hand doing nothing because I'd want to save it for better creatures, although now with the new rules where the commander does hit the grave before being moved to the command zone, it would allow me to steal the commanders, hmmm might reconsider it. But again, idk what to cut in order to add that one, for 2 more mana Thrilling Encore does a better job.

Bloodcurdling Scream/Howl from Beyond, I only knew the latter of those but I prefer Hatred for that purpose. Actually I chose this name for the deck exactly because of Hatred as it was the main win-con when I first did it.

Tainted Strike would be a great addition if our playgroup played with the 10 infect death, but we changed it to 20 infect in our playgroup to be more "fair". Long story short some years ago a dude won with infect, like big time and people got triggered that it wasn't fair, yada yada, so the majority voted on changing the infect rule between us to 20 instead of 10, way to kill infect decks... So it's not worth in this context as it is basicly the same as cmdr dmg. However if I ever change playgroup sure I'll add Tainted Strike, I have a copy somewhere here.

The big X spells I'd rather just have a few of them, the ones currently in the deck, although you did suggest some interesting stuff, but I don't want many of those. As for Death Wind I had it in the deck before but I decided to replace it with Defile, most of the times it will have the same potential effect because the deck is mono-black plus I have Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth but I will be spending only 1 mana instead. Black Sun's Zenith is already in it btw.

I do like the versitality of Damnable Pact, it can be used to finish off an opponent or simply for you to draw, and I have considered adding it a few times but I don't see anything worth trading for it.

Anyway, thanks a lot for your input, I'll take a better look at your suggestions and see if there's something I can trade for any of those.
