Weird, mana rocks, -dorks and ramp entered the conversation, and even the chapter about Deconstruct and Explosive Welcome, I was sure some mention would be made about treasure tokens too, how they somehow closed the gap between permanent-based acceleration and rituals. Like how Improvised Weaponry gives you mana back as well. That was even another article to refer back to! Missed a chance there :P

Next update:

Out: Vandalblast, Thermo-Alchemist, Temporal Cascade, Ponder, Overwhelming Intellect, Wizard Class

In: Seize the Spoils, Finale of Revelation, Reiterate, Frantic Search, Explosive Welcome, Unwind

Reason: Finally get Reiterate, so i'm going more into the combo pieces/finisher options.

Good stuff! Also as a fellow Vadrik player I can recommend Reality Spasm. Who needs Reset when this baby is less than a dollar and also fetchable with Firemind's Foresight. Also with enough Vadrik discount Reiterate goes near infinite with Frantic Search letting you cycle thru your deck for a finisher and usually netting some 30 mana left over for stuff.

Lastly I'll suggest 2 cards that go infinite with Reiterate: Explosive Welcome and Seismic Spike. Fair warning, playing the second card will likely accumulate unusual amount of salt, so play at your own risk and if anyone asks you didn't hear it from me wink.

Cheers!

Ok here is my take on the budget side. TLDR: Land total and Ramp increased. A lot of subpar removal taken out, and better ones put in. Some cheaper dragons/shapeshifters added to smooth out curve and provide cheap dragon drops for commander ability. Most importantly is added some value for getting extra dragons from cards, either by creating tokens or playing them for free from hand/deck. Added in 3 additional wincons similar to Terror of the Peaks to make it easier to win just by populating board and swinging in. Note that the wincons also can serve as creature removal, which is why so many of the outs are instant/sorcery removals
