No, this doesn't work. Though the player does retain priority to take another action, targets for a triggered ability are chosen at the time it's put onto the stack. You can't back up and re-select targets if someone makes a response.

It's possible to construct a situation where Loaming Shaman can target itself with its own trigger, but it involves the Shaman dying to a state-based-action immediately upon entering the battlefield. This is because triggered abilities are put onto the stack at the time a player gets priority to take another action but SBAs are checked and dealt with right before each time a player would get priority. So it could work in a situation where, for example, the player's opponent had Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite, or someone had Leyline of Singularity and the player already controlled another Loaming Shaman.

I’d definitely run less lands, maybe cut 5 or 6. Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite would fit great and be on theme, and it could definitely use some classic white removal spells like Path to Exile and Swords to Plowshares. I’d also cut Prophetic Prism, it’s not doing you any good as a mana rock because the only color you need is white. Love the commander, and this set gave white spells some teeth!

Is Opposition Agent better than Aven Mindcensor? (aven is more evasive tho)

depends on what you want, Aven is a better beater but, Agent is card advantage.

Make a cut for Teferi's Ageless Insight (I cut Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite. Archfiend of Ifnir is a good one sided wipe in this deck)

If you feel you can fit it in, you could add Kormus Bell and something like Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite, with Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth it can just remove your opponents manabase.
