Dark Impostor

Creature — Vampire Assassin

: Exile target creature and put a +1/+1 counter on this creature.

This creature has all activated abilities of all creature cards exiled with this. (This is a linked ability, linked to the ability in the first paragraph on the card named "Dark Imposter". This creature only has activated abilities of creature cards that were exiled via the ability in the fist paragraph.)

Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose pairs well will Exquisite Blood and I recommend Nighthawk Scavenger as an upgrade over Vampire Nighthawk and I’d remove Dark Impostor (it’s expensive for what it does). Feel welcome to check out my upgraded Vampiric Bloodline deck Innistrad’s Hottest Club: Voldaren Estates for some more ideas

lukas96 SO SOme very interesting suggestions. This Dekc has a lifegain Sub-theme, theres actually as many cards that gain me life as ones that buff my creatures. so it actually is a life gain deck because You knwo Vampires, Even when I initially played it I used life gain which let me survive larger games of my pod making me harder to kill/wear down. Ironically I find Dark Impostor is the more 'overpriced' effect as 6 mana to delete a single creature is harldy worth the potential ability steal. with some perusing I found a replacement with Sanguine Bond swapping it out for Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose those abilities lets a decent sized army close out a game. I will likely replace the imposter with the Aristocrat given I can easily sacrifce Tokens that block or become blocked to buff my board. Honestly Looking at this deck I feel like Licia Wants her own deck that Is a lifegain focused Deck, Mathas May seem weaker then most but he's honestly just fun to play with, a pet card, that unlike Licia doesnt warrant his own deck. The problem with Boros CHarm ts while thats a great autoinclude I wouldnt compare it to the PERMANENTLY indestrucbile granted by kindred boon. Crackling doom may require more thought but remeber 1-1 removal is weaker in commander DOom actually lets me gets a 2-for-1 or even 4-for1. I have replaced fell the mighty for Settle the Wreckage It came with the Pre-con and I was hoping to use it as a 1 sided board wipe like In Garruk's Wake I think you missed I already Have Merciless eviction as a Hard delete, but I do sometimes blow out some of my own stuff. Now lets talk on the Big Lifedrain. Now if I happemn to have Vito/bond in Play these are just gonan Off someone, heck with Debt to the Deathless there's a Good chance I might end the whole game. But even without that combo, The point of a lifedrain is to either drop an opponat to 0 or put them so far down (and you so far up) they presumably wont be able to survive.

Overall appreciate your feedback but I suspect we have radically different Pods

Here are some vampiric suggestions for removing threats, more benefits when creatures are removed, and becoming a threat after a board wipe.

Dark Impostor

Blade of the Bloodchief

Bloodcrazed Paladin

Kalitas, Bloodchief of Ghet

Anowon, the Ruin Sage

In your example, Olag, Ludevic's Hubris won't have the abilities from the other exiled creatures. This is because both Olag and Dark Impostor use special kinds of abilities called "Linked Abilities". Linked abilities on one card are only linked to each other, and if they're given to another card they won't take information from abilities of that other card. The second Impostor ability only considers creatures exiled with the first Impostor ability. It won't consider the cards exiled by Ludevic, Necrogenius  Flip's ability (Ludevic and Olag are the same game object).

Here are the relevant rules references:
607.1. An object may have two abilities printed on it such that one of them causes actions to be taken or objects or players to be affected and the other one directly refers to those actions, objects, or players. If so, these two abilities are linked: the second refers only to actions that were taken or objects or players that were affected by the first, and not by any other ability.
607.2a If an object has an activated or triggered ability printed on it that instructs a player to exile one or more cards and an ability printed on it that refers either to "the exiled cards" or to cards "exiled with [this object]," these abilities are linked. The second ability refers only to cards in the exile zone that were put there as a result of an instruction to exile them in the first ability.

When Ludevic transforms into Olag:

“As this creature transforms into Olag, Ludevic's Hubris, it becomes a copy of a creature card exiled with it, except its name is Olag, Ludevic's Hubris, it's 4/4, and it's a legendary blue and black Zombie in addition to its other colors and types. Put a number of +1/+1 counters on Olag equal to the number of creature cards exiled with it.”

Say I exiled three creatures to Ludevic’s ability, and one of those was Dark Impostor. Part of its card text reads:

“Dark Impostor has all activated abilities of all creature cards exiled with it.”

So my question is: since Olag is considered to be a copy of Dark Imposter, does that mean that Olag has all activated abilities of not only Dark Impostor but also any associated with the other two cards that were exiled with Olag?

Alright. I did take out the following cards Bellowing Aegisaur , Blightbeetle , Bold Plagiarist , and Dark Impostor .

I have replaced them with the following cards: Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet , Hangarback Walker , Walking Ballista , and Myriad Construct . Next time I play commander, I'll test these cards out and see how they do. Thanks for all the great suggestions everyone!

abby315- Thanks for the suggestions. I already have Noosegraf Mob in my deck but I may add in Drana, Liberator of Malakir and Hangarback Walker .

Archon_Bel- I originally put Blightbeetle into the deck to counter my own Shadrix Silverquill and disrupt my opponents but I can see that he needs to be replaced. The thing I really like about Fain, the Broker is that he works as a sac outlet for tokens powering up my other great cards. Yahenni, Undying Partisan is actually a pretty amazing card that can help survive a board wipe. My playgroup runs plenty of board wipes and it's important to be able to restart from scratch, which has made Breena so amazing in that situation. The Built in draw this commander has is so amazing and imo is underrated greatly. I will probably need to work on replacing Bellowing Aegisaur and Blightbeetle . I like that Dark Impostor is control on a stick (though very high mana) and he fits the theme.

Nice to see another Breena player. I think you could stand to bring your creature count down to make room for more utility cards, namely draw and removal. Slow cards that require you to tap or pay good chunks of mana for their effects, or inefficient cards that only benefit themselves, one other creature, or are dependent on your opponent doing something, should be the first to go. Cards that have to wait a whole cycle of turns to do anything (i.e "At the beginning of your upkeep" cards) also aren't that great imo.

Bellowing Aegisaur Blightbeetle Bold Plagiarist Dark Impostor sus Fain, the Broker High Sentinels of Arashin Luminarch Aspirant Star Pupil Yahenni, Undying Partisan Utter End Vanishing Verse Citadel Siege Gleam of Authority

I'd consider these to be the worst cards in your deck and easily replaceable for some utility or cards that directly feed into your strategy, which is going wide with tokens and being able to place counters on all of them at once. If a creature only does benefit itself, it should have some kind of pay off for leaving the field since a card like that is likely to get removed once it gets big enough. Bloodtracker is a good example of this, as is Myriad Construct .
