Dance of the Manse

Sorcery

Return up to X target artifact and/or non-Aura enchantment cards each with converted mana cost/mana value X or less from your graveyard to the battlefield. If X is 6 or more, those permanents are 4/4 creatures in addition to their other types.

No, the targets have to be legal when you put it on the stack, which they won’t be. Even ignoring that problem, Dance of the Manse returns everything at the same time, so there’d be no window for those graveyard cards to see Encroaching Mycosynth in play and be able to act on that

Let’s say Encroaching Mycosynth is in my graveyard along with Brave the Sands and Faerie Seer, two nonartifact permanents. If I cast Dance of the Manse with X equal to 4, I’ll be able to return Encroaching Mycosynth, sure, but would I be able to also return the other two cards I mentioned? Would bringing back Encroaching Mycosynth immediately make the other cards in my graveyards artifacts, hence making them legal targets as long as they’re mana value is 4 or less?

I would really like to see just some basic removal spells, at least 7. At least some instants, at least one more board wipe. If you have a Teferi's Protection or a Semester's End you really don't care about unconditionally wiping the board. I would also like to see a Brilliant Restoration type of card your static enchantments are really powerful and its nice to have a backup way to overwhelm them after a cheeky Farewell, while they're not Dance of the Manse explosive it can get pretty hard to deal with the sudden burst in deadliness especially if you can give your creatures haste somehow.

You could try Dance of the Manse for some recursion.

Your commander specifies removing counters from creatures, not permanents, and not Sagas. In order for any of these ideas to work you need things like Destiny Spinner, Dance of the Manse, Starfield of Nyx, Opalescence.

Solid build!

No love for Parallax Tide?

Estrid's Invocation solid swiss army knife clone effect

Extinguish All Hope one sided removal is always nice but this might be 1 colorless too much.

Dance of the Manse reanimation would be useful tech for the enchantment strategy.

Resurgent Belief would be Replenish #2

Looks a lot stronger - some thoughts though:

  • I'm personally not a huge fan of Dance of the Manse or Setessan Champion. Dance feels like it just needs a lot of mana to still only have a "meh" effect. Champion has an alright card-drawing effect, but the +1/+1 stuff is often pointless, and the fact he's not an enchantment himself causes big tempo issues. Sythis, Harvest's Hand and Enchantress's Presence are just soo much better.

  • I'd opt for Sigil of the Empty Throne over Starfield of Nyx. Starfield is just inviting your opponent into playing their board-wipe. Sigil is a much safer way to win the game from the safety of the pillow-fort.

  • Your mana curve is low enough that you can play this with much less lands than you are currently. I think you can pretty safely go down to 21-22 lands.

  • You need some form of protection while you're pumping out enchants - at the moment your early-game is still at risk of being destroyed by a fast-attack. Enchantress decks typically run Solitary Confinement to keep themselves safe, though if you're not a fan of that card, Ghostly Prison could work nicely also.
