Both tribes of clerics and zombies excel at reanimation and you may as well play into it, with that in mind consider the following, Bishop of Rebirth, Custodi Soulcaller, Drana, the Last Bloodchief, Mikaeus, the Unhallowed, Orah, Skyclave Hierophant, Order of Whiteclay, Whisper, Blood Liturgist and Draugr Necromancer although you would need to add snow lands for that.

Useful in tribe creatures: Custodi Lich, Evangel of Heliod, Taborax, Hope's Demise and Custodi Soulbinders. This is hardly a comprehensive list but just a few ideas.

I see what you mean about Cemetery Reaper, I feel the same way sometimes. I do like Graveborn Muse because I play her with a sac outlet already in play. I usually play it early on or after a board wipe, I love how this card is a time bomb.

I agree about Risen Executioner and would not mind dropping him, even though my graveyard is usually empty unless it is late game. Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet serves more for token generation and control then for a sac outlet.

I like Custodi Lich because it makes you the monarch for at least a turn and you can sac him for a decent amount of zombies. So I use him as good fooder, but I do like your point about Priest of Forgotten Gods. Will have to ponder that one.

I will have to play test the deck a little to see where I can cut cards, I appreciate the feedback so thank you.

Every time I build zombie tribal, I end up removing Cemetery Reaper. But maybe that's just me. Also, though, Graveborn Muse seems like it has the potential to kill you, so maybe I'd replace that.

Other candidates for replacement would be Risen Executioner, which gets very expensive to recur very quickly, or Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet, which isn't the best of sac outlets.

And you can tell me if Custodi Lich is worth the cost. Personally, I'd trade that one out for Priest of Forgotten Gods, which is underutilized and multifunctional.

I am glad to be seeing more cleric tribal decks starting to show up, it seems the solid increase in cleric legendary prints has really helped. In my own experiments with tribal clerics, Ayli, Eternal Pilgrim being my original cleric commander, have found that clerics excel in defense, resurrection and life gain but not offense compared to tribes like soldier and goblin tribal. That in mind I do have some recommendations to help maximize their potential.

Beat Sticks and offense: You have Doubtless One and Vile Deacon but don't forget to add Custodi Soulbinders and Mikaeus, the Lunarch to round out the heavy hitters. But there is more to offensive then just beat sticks, so I would consider Frontline Medic for no fear attacks and non cleric offensive aids like Reconnaissance, Dolmen Gate and Cover of Darkness to keep the clergy moving and Tymna earning her keep. From my experience in using Tymna you need evasion to keep drawing cards as trample is scarce in tribe. If you are feeling savage you can try Archangel of Thune and with the life gain available to the tribe it can get hilarious fast.

Card Draw: Most tribal decks I see have the same weakness and its card draw, even with Tymna the Weaver you can still get ground down to a halt, avoid that with some in tribe options to fuel the attack like Bygone Bishop, Custodi Lich, Twilight Prophet, Mangara, the Diplomat, Alms Collector, Yawgmoth, Thran Physician. Yawgmoth is a must have in my opinion as he removes the sting out of board wipes and allows removal if you really need it and can even discard one of your cards for reanimation abuse as well.

Defensive Options: Clerics probably have the best defenses out of all the tribes and at very low costs, some options I you should consider are Devoted Caretaker, Giver of Runes, Selfless Spirit and Songstitcher if fliers are a problem for you.

Tricks and Value Combos: An amusing combo I have played with before and found pretty funny was Hedron-Field Purists or Daunting Defender along with Pestilence. It can take a bit to assemble but is pretty funny when you do. Another value combo is Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose and Ancestor's Prophet.

Resurrection: To many options to list but I would recommend looking through the large amounts available and pack as many as you can in to increase endurance and grind opponents down. I can say from experience this can really clinch a victory.

You don't have a ton of card-draw, and I also recommend at least eight pieces for almost any deck. Graveyard recursion, especially the good ones, definitely count as card advantage in my book, so Phyrexian Reclamation is great here, as is Whisper.

Grim Haruspex and Disciple of Bolas are on-theme. Thorn of the Black Rose and Custodi Lich are fun creature-based choices too. Some other classic choices are Ambition's Cost, Ancient Craving, Promise of Power, Liliana's Contract, Syphon Mind, Castle Locthwain, and Read the Bones. Palace Siege is okay, especially if you feel you need more recursion. Diabolic Servitude is nice and repeatable. Victimize and Blood for Bones are a great rate. Oversold Cemetery is nice too, though pricey.

Greed, Arguel's Blood Fast  Flip, Skullclamp and Erebos, God of the Dead are really good but not cheap. Erebos, Bleak-Hearted, Yawgmoth, Thran Physician, and God-Eternal Bontu would be decent as well. Bonus points for some being threats/blockers.

Gonti, Lord of Luxury is an interesting choice for card advantage--especially if you can recur him out of the graveyard over and over.

Dreadhorde Invasion is a great source of sacrifice fodder. So are Grave Titan and Bitterblossom but they're expensive. High Market is good in case your commander get's Arrested or turned into an elk or frog or the moon. Rogue's Passage could help end games once Yahenni is huge.

If you find you can't close out games between all the groupslug aristocrat cards and Yahenni's damage, perhaps a few auxiliary groupslug cards could tip games in your favor. Most of the good ones are very expensive though. Bloodchief Ascension, Painful Quandary, Polluted Bonds, Wound Reflection, and Palace Siege et al. Torment of Hailfire and Exsanguinate are classic finishers too.

As far as cuts go... I don't love some of the creature-based removal. I know it's good because you can sacrifice them later but perhaps Morkrut Banshee, Skinrender, and Anowon the Ruin Sage could be cut. I don't love Devour in Shadow and Drag to the Underworld. You should be set on removal even with those five cuts. Feed the Swarm is worth noting! Mortician Beetle is a bit win-more but is uniquely suited to the deck and worth keeping for now. Probably makes a good blocker. Geralf's Messenger is a bit weaker than some of the token generators and recurring threats too.

Also, I don't know if you care (few do) but if you want an accurate price calculation for your deck you should put the cards in the Sideboard into the Maybeboard so they aren't added.

Hi there,

Just going to jump in here to point out that Havengul Lich doesn't gain static abilities (like those of Nyxbloom Ancient), only activated abilities (such as both abilities on Cryptbreaker).

There are 3 reasons why someone would consider including Havengul Lich in their 99: 1) They want to be able to use activated abilities from graveyards for 1 mana. This requires a dedicated decklist. 2) They want to be able to cast creatures from graveyards at instant speed (creatures with Flash, or with Vedalken Orrery/Leyline of Anticipation/etc). This also requires a dedicated decklist 3) They want to be able to cast creatures from their opponent's graveyards. This also requires a dedicated decklist. I don't think your deck wants to do any of those things or enough of those things, so it doesn't really make sense to include it.

multimedia is also absolutely correct that your deck wants fetchlands, assuming that money is no concern (which is reasonable, considering you have all of the original duals), as not only will these cards get your duals, they can also be replayed by Muldrotha, the Gravetide and will thin your deck. In fact, all of his suggestions for improving the manabase are correct: lands that can enter untapped are generally better than those that don't. That doesn't mean don't use untapped lands, only that you should only use a few and that you should pick them wisely (such as Bojuka Bog, or cycling lands such as Forgotten Cave).

Furthermore, consider using Animate Dead, Necromancy and Dance of the Dead. These are enchantments that recur creatures, which lets you get around the limitations on Muldrotha of only being able to recur 1 card of the each type. On top of that, if the creature dies, the enchantment goes to the graveyard, which can then be recurred once more. On top of that, each can recur cards from another player's graveyard, which is useful in a pinch.

Finally, since you are in green you really shouldn't use ramp spells that A) don't put permanents directly into play or B) cost more than 3 mana. Realms Uncharted violates the first, and Hour of Promise violates the second. On top that, your deck contains no Desert Lands (such as Desert of the Glorified or Ifnir Deadlands), so you will never get the second part of Hour of Promise, effectively making it a more expensive Explosive Vegetation that isn't limited to basic lands. As multimedia suggested, Crop Rotation and the more costly-but-powerful Harrow are good replacements as Muldrotha can replay the sacrificed land afterwards, which gets around the cost of sacrificing land. Furthermore, Sakura-Tribe Elder is a must-include in Muldrotha decks, as it can become a Rampant Growth on every turn.

multimedia is also correct about cutting the Curse enchantments and Amulet of Vigor. The Curses are situational and limited in power, and Amulet of Vigor does not have enough synergies in the deck to be worth the slot.

Finally, here's a non-exhaustive list of zombies which are (in my opinion) some of the best options in EDH for your colors and why
