Conduit of Worlds's activated ability can only be activated at sorcery speed, it says right at the end. There's no breaking of timing restrictions, TypicalTimmy

I resent the description given of Gideon though. I've always loved the fact that he takes the battle into his own hands, when needed. It's one of the most consistent planeswalker abilities ever printed, Gideon Planeswalkers will turn into indestructible creatures that don't take damage. All of them. It's more consistent than a Chandra doing direct damage (Chandra, Acolyte of Flame), more consistent than Elspeth making tokens (Elspeth, Undaunted Hero), more consistent than Ajani boosting creatures (Ajani Vengeant). They might have killed him because they foresaw running out of design space because of that, but how dare you call him an Ajani/Elspeth clone when all they share is a color.

i agree... and Chandra, Acolyte of Flame has honestly always been my favorite chandra walker lol its amazing.... dont tempt me to throw in a Cavalcade of Calamity in here too lol

i was disappointed with Flux Channeler being NONCREATURE spells.... because i thought that was amazing untill i realized that (at least in this current workup) my artifacts are creatures too lol....

Ha, I really have no idea, but the card does seem like it could do some really nice things : ) She looks like a versatile walker, and I like it. Chandra, Acolyte of Flame could also power up the loyalty on Saheeli.

Anyways, hope the deck comes out good! Seems like a really fun idea.

I don't think Chandra, Acolyte of Flame is a good fit for this deck. Maybe consider Chandra, Torch of Defiance for a small amount of mana production and card advantage?

@ GrimlockVIII I had not considered Chandra, Acolyte of Flame before. I don't like that the tokens don't stick around. But the added utility of being able to cast a 3 CMC or less instant or sorcery from graveyard I think makes it worth it. Most of my draw and ramp are under 3 CMC. Finale of Devastation, Chord of Calling, and Eldritch Evolution are also under 3 CMC and can be gotten back with Chandra, Acolyte of Flame to go for a second win attempt if they are originally countered.

Thanks for the suggestion! When I put in an order for some Double Masters 2022 cards I will be sure to include a foil copy of Chandra, Acolyte of Flame to test it out.

Ooh true you definitely need red token generators instead of green ones. Didn't even realize that until I looked at your deck again.

Would Chandra, Acolyte of Flame be useful in that regard? She's a cheap source of repeated red token making to help copy your big spells with Wort. Sure the tokens are sacrificed once your turn ends, but she gets to stick around and keep giving you those two little dorks in case you can't find your other token makers.

Good article, but one small thing: there is another planeswalker that can up loyalty on other planeswalkers. I've always thought Chandra, Acolyte of Flame has been an insanely underrated card, and her faux "+1" ability is one of those reasons. She makes cards like Chandra, Torch of Defiance and Nahiri, the Harbinger waaaaay more dangerous.
