Chalice of the Void
Artifact
Chalice of the Void enters the battlefield with X charge counters on it.
Whenever a player casts a spell with converted mana cost/mana value equal to the number of charge counters on Chalice of the Void, counter that spell.

Some thoughts:
-
traditionally Eldrazi Tron has always needed the full playset of Chalice of the Void in order to remain competitive and ensuring they can reliably do something obnoxious early.
-
ditch Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger and Ugin, the Spirit Dragon, they’re both too clumsy for eldrazi tron builds - which has no reliable way to assemble tron.
-
Forsaken Monument is better run as a single copy in your sideboard than a mainboard card - the card just doesn’t do enough to be mainboard material.
-
you really want to be running 23-24 lands.
-
i have no idea why Emrakul, the Aeons Torn is in your sideboard… unless Mill consumes a massive percentage of your meta??
-
Elixir of Immortality and Lightning Greaves feel like very weak sideboard cards. I’m surprised your sideboard doesn’t have stuff like Liquimetal Coating, Ensnaring Bridge, Wurmcoil Engine, Cityscape Leveler and Sundering Titan

Y'know I've spent a lot of time reading up on Zoo and talking to other Zoo players... I think that's a first I've heard someone suggest Violent Outburst... that just seems like something fun to try out and build the deck around it more that's very neat to think about thanks.
I can get behind your other suggestions/reasonings too (This is just a working list I run at my LGS)... I'd love me a playset of ragavan just haven't bought them... I do wanna stick up for Pridemage though; when played on curve T1 Wild Nacatl and T2 Qasali Pridemage swinging for 4 damage due to exalted is pretty big and can unassumingly be impactful for games where "swinging with the team" just isn't the answer. He is also just a mainboard answer for Chalice of the Void/Ensnaring Bridge which are just both prevalent in my meta; where he is pressure/boost normally but also sacrificing him so I can keep attacking/casting is just worth it.

CandiedRats Note that while Void Mirror will stop Grief/Fury being free-cast, Chalice of the Void won't, as the cards still have a mana value - although I assume your intention with Chalice is to play it where X=1 to prevent them reanimating their Grief/Fury (but by the time you can do that it's probably too late?)

Or the poor mans higher casting cost version.
These are normally auto includes for me in this current meta. They have the bonus of stopping cascade triggers as well.
legendofa on Is Leyline binding worth it?

My actual direct experience with Leyline Binding is very light, but my impression is that it's very useful, but very prone to sideboard counters. So basically what you said.
It gets around Chalice of the Void easily enough, and the flash is pure joy. Best value is in 3+ color decks, since you want the biggest discount you can get.
Downsides include Blood Moon (can't get a discount if your Hallowed Fountain becomes a Hallowed Mountain) and the usual array of removal (Haywire Mite, Wear / Tear, Boseiju, Who Endures, etc.) gets their card back.
It's hard to play around, but easy enough to deal with. If your games tend to go long, you need to have a really good support structure around it.

If you’re super worried about just Chalice of the Void then Volt Charge might be worth considering. The mana cost is a bit high, but it lets you inflict damage while also ticking any Chalices up to X=2, which simultaneously prevents anyone casting any future X=1 Chalices, while also potentially messing with the opponents own gameplans.
Might be a bit too cute to be useful, but if Chalice is the #1 threat to the deck, it could be a good sideboard choice.

Hey! I did some play testing of this deck (love me some aggro) and one thing I noticed is that your deck is really, really weak to Chalice of the Void. I ran this deck up against some of the top decks in Modern, and any deck with Chalice almost completely shut this down. If you've never considered it, I'd suggest adding either Wear / Tear or Smash to Smithereens in the sideboard. And while I actually really like Patrician's Scornfor how spicy it is, I don't know if you have enough white sources to consistently cast it.
Those are just some quick observations, but do what you want!

Bomat Courier has been doing okay.
I feel like that will likely be the next card I replace, or trade out for more Dragons Rage Channeler, another Gut Shot and another Underworld Breach
To be honest my local meta is very weird. It's a bit smaller than most I think but Smash to Smithereens was the card I was going to comb through my collection to find. Because I knew about Chalice of the Void but haven't seen it yet.
