Looks good! Personally I would make these swaps:

Dolmen Gate -> Spark Double
Outlaws' Merriment -> Irenicus's Vile Duplication
Tocasia's Welcome -> Sakashima of a Thousand Faces
Reconnaissance -> Sakashima the Impostor
Iroas, God of Victory -> Auton Soldier
Orzhov Advokist -> Quantum Misalignment
Grand Abolisher -> Castle Ardenvale
Stalwart Pathlighter -> Castle Embereth

Hi there, I saw your comment on the front page feed that you were looking for some help with your deck. Alesha was one of my first favorites, but I recycled her a couple of years ago to build Isshin.

In looking at your deck and some of the stuff in your Maybe Board, I have a few suggestions:

  • Generally speaking, I think you can trim down your creature base a bit more to give you a bit more room for lands, another mana rock or two, and other spells that can help your overall strategy.

  • Some of the creatures I think you can safely cut are: Ponyback Brigade (you have other token creators that aren't 3 color intensive, also kinda underwhelming), Vulturous Aven (there are other similar effects on cheaper spells, at cost of not being repeatable), and Mirkwood Bats (mostly because you currently have ~10 or fewer token creating effects in deck, so not a lot of support).

  • As mentioned for the Vulturous Aven swap, but Deadly Dispute, Costly Plunder, & Plumb the Forbidden are all excellent options. Plumb the Forbidden is one I've enjoyed in my aggro decks as a response to board wipes.

  • Fanatical Devotion is a budget option that pulls some weight in Alesha as a protection effect & repeatable "free" sac outlet.

  • Scapegoat can also be a cheap board protection effect, & means for you to return ETB creatures to hand for reuse.

  • Reconnaissance - I first started playing this card in Alesha before using it in some of my current aggro decks. Helps with pulling Alesha or other creatures out of combat after they've dealt damage, since creatures are considered attacking until combat ends. This EDHREc article goes in more detail.

  • Snarling Gorehound - Is a newer card & can help Alesha get some repeated Surveil to sculpt her graveyard.

  • I'd recommend replacing Coldsteel Heart with something like Talisman of Conviction or Fellwar Stone. I see you recently swapped out Fellwar Stone for Coldsteel Heart, but you're losing a bit of mana velocity with that ETB tapped on Coldsteel.

  • In looking at your mana, I think you can probably swap Castle Embereth with another Mountain, mostly because 6 of your 33 lands have the Mountain type. On that note, I think you could safely replace some of your lands that enter tapped with more Basics until you can your hands on something like Luxury Suite or Spectator Seating. Exotic Orchard can also be helpful.

  • You can also maybe swap out Junkyard Genius for something like Goblin War Drums, if you're looking for a more reliable Menace anthem.

  • I know she's in your Maybe Board, but I think Loran of the Third Path can be a potential swap with Boneshredder. The political draw she has can be really helpful.

Hope these suggestions were helpful. I'd be down to chat about additional swaps if you're up for it. Best of luck, Alesha is a lot of fun

Hey! I love the deck - it seems perfect for drawing loads of cards. Perhaps you could use Niv-Mizzet, Parun? He rewards you for drawing cards, draws you cards for casting instants and sorceries, and punishes your opponents for casting the same spell types. He's quite color-intensive though. He also goes infinite with Curiosity.

Another recommendation would be Purphoros, God of the Forge - he's basically a better Impact Tremors.

Castle Embereth could slot in instead of a mountain and buffs your entire board.

Finally, Mystic Remora can draw a ton of cards, and few people ever pay the for it. If you pay the upkeep cost, it can get you 4+ cards a turn!

I have a similar deck, Oops, all blightsteels! [Brudiclad EDH]. I'd love it if you could give me some feedback!

Some cool lands to maybe think about for future upgrades:

Malakir Rebirth  Flip, Agadeem's Awakening  Flip, Bala Ged Recovery  Flip, Shatterskull Smashing  Flip, Turntimber Symbiosis  Flip, Valakut Awakening  Flip, Castle Locthwain, Castle Embereth

Cragcrown Pathway  Flip, Blightstep Pathway  Flip, Auntie's Hovel

I think your Reliquary Tower might be a bit ambitious; maybe replace it with Goblin Burrows or Den of the Bugbear for flavor? or Westvale Abbey  Flip!! No shortage of tokens to sacrifice!

For the mana, I'd suggest adding a couple of copies of Castle Embereth and a copy of Sokenzan, Crucible of Defiance.

Alright alright so I got asked to give a bunch of suggestions so here we go. Hoo boy. Gonna try to keep most suggestions low on budget but will include the best slightly expensive cards. Should also mention I got a lot of things I know from this primer, cheers. https://deckstats.net/decks/82803/752805-competitive-krenko/en

First the draw pieces you missed: Rundvelt Hordemaster, Dark-Dweller Oracle, Skullclamp, Subira, Tulzidi Caravanner, Reforge the Soul, Conspicuous Snoop, You Find Some Prisoners. The only actual good ones you got in this draft are Idol of Oblivion and Wheel of Misfortune imo, though most are servicable.

Tutors: these beauties can find your best wincons or draw pieces or whatever else you might need most of the time. Goblin Engineer, Goblin Matron, Goblin Recruiter. And are surprisingly affordable.

Next up ramp: Mana doublers are too slow for a deck as fast as Krenko, and you don't have the card draw to support such cards in mono-red. Not really. Also with the 4 mana commander having 2 mana ramp becomes much, much more valued. Cheering Fanatic, Liquimetal Torque, Generator Servant, Wily Goblin, Infernal Plunge, Fire Diamond (Yes I know, I think it's fine here).

Haste: Giving Krenko (and his tokens) haste literally puts you a turn ahead over not having it. Crashing Drawbridge, Ashling's Prerogative (Even gives tokens haste too), Generator Servant (multipurpose? Whoa), Goblin Chieftain, Goblin Motivator, Lightning Greaves, Mass Hysteria, Thousand-Year Elixir (tad pricey but repeatable Krenko seems good) Bloodlust Inciter.

Wincons: gotta end the game somehow. Combo's are good: Breath of Fury, Staff of Domination, Thornbite Staff, Umbral Mantle are the best combo lines for Krenko afaik. If not/next to combo, we have good old damage: Coat of Arms, Eldrazi Monument, Impact Tremors, Obelisk of Urd, Skirk Fire Marshal, Purphoros, God of the Forge, Shared Animosity, Devilish Valet, Quest for the Goblin Lord, Throne of the God-Pharaoh.

If we let our opponents do whatever they want we'll have trouble winning, even with our speed. Luckily red has quite some options. Don't forget Liquimetal Torque can turn things into artifacts so we can shoot them easier. Abrade, Chaos Warp, Gempalm Incinerator (great removal spell, terrible creature), Goblin Assassin (wipes the floor with creature decks), Goblin Bombardment, Goblin Cratermaker, Goblin Sharpshooter, Goblin Trashmaster, Goblin Welder (hits opponents too), Mogg Salvage, Pashalik Mons, Skirk Fire Marshal (your board survives this with Coat of Arms or Eldrazi Monument), Furystoke Giant, Shattering Spree, better than Vandalblast, Wild Magic Surge.

Best Utility Lands: Great Furnace, Buried Ruin, Path of Ancestry, Castle Embereth.

I'm tired and my brain is dying so here's a dump of things I forgot or for didn't have a place to mentioned yet :)

Heirloom Blade, Chandra, Torch of Defiance, Blood Moon, Brash Taunter, Impulsive Pilferer, Jeska's Will, Goblin Chirurgeon, Goblin Sledder, Mogg Raider, Pyroblast, Red Elemental Blast, Tibalt's Trickery, Mogg War Marshal, Legion Loyalist, Legion Warboss, Brash Taunter, Fable of the Mirror-Breaker  Flip, Hobgoblin Bandit Lord, Muxus, Goblin Grandee (idk at what math this is good I'm sure someone did it already somewhere on the internet), Siege-Gang Commander, Zo-Zu the Punisher, Goblin Ringleader, Goblin Piledriver, Arms Dealer, Grotag Night-Runner, Goblin King (get 5th or 6th edition art btw).

Good luck on figuring things out. I'm off to bed

Drown in the Loch is best in a mill deck. It might not be too bad here, but I would switch it out for some one-mana discard. Dread Fugue is a decent budget option, or Thoughtseize is the power option.

I don't think Castle Embereth is pulling its weight here; the only creatures I expect to see attacking by turn 3 are the Sprite Dragons, and you have better things to spend mana on. Maybe switch it for another Hive of the Eye Tyrant to help fill the four-mana spot.
