Equipped creature has haste.

Whenever an ability of equipped creature is activated, if it isn’t a mana ability, you may pay {1}. If you do, copy that ability. You may choose new targets for the copy.

Equip {2} ({2}: Attach this to target creature you control. Equip only as a sorcery. This enters the battlefield unattached and stays on the battlefield if the creature this card is attached to leaves the battlefield.)

Also it might be cool to create pseudo-Battered Golems by combining cards like Blisterspit Gremlin, Dwarven Patrol, and Nettle Drone with cards like Liquimetal Torque, Liquimetal Coating, and Ashnod's Transmogrant.

You might consider these too: Kessig Flamebreather, Lambholt Raconteur  ^Flip, Keen Sense, Snake Umbra, Illusionist's Bracers, Battlemage's Bracers, Cemetery Prowler

Battlemage's Bracers might not fit perfectly, unless I'm missing something. Narset has a triggered ability, not an activated ability.

I'm outlining a {U}{R}{W} Equipment deck around Kykar, Wind's Fury, and this deck is giving me some ideas and inspiration.

Additional combat rounds or untap effects double your goblins. There are a bunch of sorceries and enchantments that do this.

Battlemage's Bracers, Rings of Brighthearth, Thousand-Year Elixir, Umbral Mantle

Breath of Fury goes infinite if you have something to give goblins Haste.

Use any of the Red "steal your creature for one round" cards so you can sac their creatures after combat.

Battlemage's Bracers

Thornbite Staff could be very useful but its an older card and pricey.

Battlemage's Bracers, Heartstone. I'd look at the cards with Friend/Foe effects.

The "all creatures gain trample and haste" ability would be awesome with some Goad cards like Baeloth Barrityl, Entertainer

kookoo, I appreciate the suggestions, even though they total over $130. The dreadnought is cool, but way too pricy, and the only utility I gain from it is sacrificing it right away. I am considering Battlemage's Bracers, just not sure what to slot it in for yet.

As a few more thoughts:

If you're set on using {W}, a partner pair with Ravos, Soultender will keep your discarded cards ready to be used. Maybe Thrasios, Triton Hero for the other?

Copying the abilities with cards like Lithoform Engine, Illusionist's Bracers, or Battlemage's Bracers, depending on budget, can improve their efficiency. Since the Spellshapers signature ability involves tapping and discarding, a way to untap them repeatedly and a big pile of draw effects would also help efficiency.
