I've been having fun playing this on the Bo1 Historic ladder and thought I'd share. The game plan is all-in combo aggro. Cheap red card draw powers up Steamkin and Kiln-Fiend with the plan of pitching and recurring a Phoenix as fast as possible. Shock gives us a small amount of reach or lets us remove something if we absolutely have to. Maximize Velocity is the secret hero of the deck, giving us 2 spells toward Phoenix, a pitch outlet, or the ability to drop a hasty Kiln Fiend during a combo turn.

The one-ofs are flex slots I'm trying out. Carnival is a fifth burn spell and turns on spectacle; great against mana dorks, Soul Wardens, or planeswalkers that drop to 1 loyalty. Ox gives us some extra gas against control. Claim can help us push through for lethal against other creature decks. Light Up the Stage is only a two-of because we really don't want to exile a phoenix that we can't cast, and we also don't have a lot of spectacle enablers. This deck is best suited to Bo1, but I've included some sideboard ideas in case you want to try it in Bo3. Enjoy!
