Quirion Ranger/Wirewood Symbiote interaction with Land

So say It's t2 and I have 1 Forest and a Llanowar Elves in play both untapped, I tap one forest for Quirion Ranger, and after that I use her ability instantly to remove the Forest. I then untap Llanowar Elves, and tap it again to play Wirewood Symbiote, I then use his ability to return Quirion Ranger and untap my Llanowar Elves again. Now, my question begins here... Am I able to play that Forest I returned to my hand if I had not played a land prior that turn?

Yes you can. You get to play one land pet turn. Regardless of what you have done prior to.
