Interaction between Faerie Artisans and Delney, Streetwise Lookout?

Asked by TitanWalls 4 months ago

As stated, can someone clarify: if i have both of those cards in play, when an opponent plays a creature card, do I create and keep two token copies of it? Or is it applied sequentially and the latter copy destroys the first due to the text rules of Faerie Artisans? If it's the latter case, it will it still apply two ETB effect for cards like Gala Greeters (also proc'd twice by Delney, Streetwise Lookout, right?

They would be separate triggers that resolve seperately and the 2nd token copy entering would exile the first. You'd only have 1 stick around but you'd get both etb's if the token either has one or triggers something else though.

And yes, if those tokens trigger an ability of a creature you control with power 2 or less, it would essentially quadruple trigger something like Gala Greeters. Token enters, gala triggers twice, token enters exiling the first, and gala again triggers twice. You would only get 3 of those triggers with Gala specifically because he only has 3 modes to choose though.

I figured as much. Still exploitable, but not as broken as I'd hoped! Great answer as always, last laugh.
