Challenge rules

Custom Cards forum

i have been wondering this, on stuff like the discussion challenge how much should or shouldn't we as part of the team be involved in the discussions? I mean i dont think since we will be judging the card creation competitions that we should be involved in those. (though we definitely should be making some of the non important or mechanic necessary cards,)

I don't think we should be involved at all. The whole point of us having our own forum is internal brainstorming and then posting it as an open challenge is to see what they come up with. We have the final say as R&D but we want them to be involved.

Getting down and into their open challenge and telling them what we think and our personal pet project write-up or concepts seems wrong to me; like it could twist what they really want to talk about by dropping an elephant into the room that no one wants to speak up about.

Everyone is obviously free to do what they want, but I'm staying out of the public suggestions.

Ah. I missed this one. My apologies since you all feel this way. I thought since the community went with my world idea most of plane names and entirely my keywords, that they might enjoy seeing some of my Planewalkers also.

I feel a little insulted by Zanven's comment about "getting down into their open challenge and telling them what we think and our personal pet project write up or concept seems wrong". If you have a look Zanven, in a manner of speaking, you have been working on ideas for 'my pet project' for a while now.

Realistically though this is a community set and hence all ideas go by them first and THEY HAVE THE FINAL SAY but as things are I don't think we'll get something everyone is happy with, in regards to the planeswalker challenge. If people like my design then why should it not be the one used same as the last few decisions made by the tapped community.

just to chime in on the involved at all part, this will take 5 years if every card common etc are challenges, right now the plan is all cycles will be challenges, key cards will be challenges most rares and mythics will be challenges

We can submit a planeswalker if the final choice is a community vote which is what we are doing now. But originally it was that we would pick the winner and then if the winer was yours tama, then it would look really biased and unfair.

I think we have our top ten btw and i will be posting htem in a new thread.

I honestly thought that this was going to be about a person just entering the workforce (either from school or university) who was going to ask how others in the workforce are able to pay for their cards.

Dynamomamo just reminded me of the childhood joys that was Dynamite by Pop-Cap Games.

Dynamite, Bejeweled and that one with the puff ball creature things ... whatever it's called. Those were my three childhood Pop-Cap Games that I really remember well.

Oh, and Bookworm! Can't forget the Adventures of Bookworm!

Dynamite was like Super Bubble Pop. Except the theme was Dinosaurs, and there were a lot of really fun versions to play, puzzle, time-trial and get-the-fossil. The music fit the theme well and it makes me want to play it again.
