More fine tuning. —Oct. 21, 2018
Valakut is gone, down to 18 lands now. Gone up some creatures as too many draws did nothing. Soul-Scar Mage as a new one drop. Replaced Abbot of Keral Keep with Sanguinary Mage, the ability of The Abbot wasn't that good most of the time and the two Mage's wizard typing means Wizard's Lightning is now viable giving the deck access to eight bolts instead of four.

Oh, its in the sideboard. But will it work on Expertise??? This deck is awesome btw.

Watertower420 if you cast Reverberate as your free spell Expertise is no longer on the stack when it resolves so the copy fails I believe.

Thanks Om3gaOm3n I have considered it. I figured I don't have that much non combat damage to take advantage of it and with any luck I'll win before they get a creature out with more than 3 toughness.

OblivionBringer. Interesting, I guess my deck does have some similarities with Storm, not sure what to cut though and am still leaning towards Magmatic Insight in place of Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle.

You can run Manamorphose and Mutagenic Growth and still be mono red. The latter is great to avoid death by bolt for your fiend when you're tapped out. I'd cut Fling as it will kill your fiend before getting a trigger. You could probably drop your deck down to 18 lands as well.

Can you Reverberatethe Expertise? If so a 2x could help a ton against zoo and mono green fast aggro. Lots of those two decks in my meta here...
