Zirda doesn't like Nettlecyst?

Asked by Infatuated_Amnesiac 7 months ago

I've been brewing a deck, recently added Zirda, the Dawnwaker as a companion and moved cards accordingly to meet the requirement of all permanents having an activated ability. But the deck marks Nettlecyst in red as not meeting that requirement.

Is it special? Does it's equip cost not count as an activated ability/am I missing something?

Thank you for your time and patience!

As far as the rules question here: Equip is an activated ability. Zirda is a legal companion for a deck containing equipment.

It seems that you have encountered a site issue. Tagging Femme_Fatale and yeaGO to inform them of the site issue.

Not really a site issue? Just me swearing that I added the reminder text to that card ages ago but apparently not.

Zirda checks legality by looking to see if there's a colon in the rules text.
