Abundant Growth

Asked by luisserpa 9 years ago

Hello guys, and thank you for even reading this.

I have a question about a card Abundant Growth, it says that when enchanted land is tapped, it adds a mana of any color. My question is: If I enchant a forest and then tap, it adds a forest + a mana of any color, or it only adds one mana of any color?

Once again, thank you for your time.

Regards

Though it isn't printed out in full on the card, every basic land has an ability that says ": add C to your mana pool", where C is the appropriate color. What Abundant Growth does is give the land another ability that can make any color of mana. You have to choose one of the abilities to activate when you tap the land for mana, not both. You get 1 mana of any color.

Also, Forest is a basic land type; it isn't a type of mana. You can add green mana () to your mana pool, but you don't add Forests to your mana pool.
