Planeswalkers for our plane

okay, so the design team was discussing and i think the plan is to have a total of 3 planeswalkers for the first set. but then try to have by the end of it at Least one per shard, and then maybe a 5 colored one...maybe. With bagan on irindu that means we have to more planeswalkers for our first set. which two shards are they going to be in.

i think GBW should get one. Party because of the shards it is the least fleshed out, and this gives it something. My general understanding of BUG is that it is mostly non thinking creatures leaving me to believe that it shouldn't get one. that leave WUR and BRW. Im not sure which should get it.

I kinda think to keep people interest maybe WUR can get it. But BRW having the villain one also makes sense. Not sure

BRW should get one, I had a story idea for him but it fits in the first or second set not third. I also think that since this set is the third in the set hence smaller then the first it should only get one or two planewalkers. block

Set 1: 3 planeswalkers

set 2: 2 planeswalkers

set 3: 1 planeswalker

Just stick to the inverse of Alara imo or else everything will take even longer to progress. I'm just waiting for due dates to go up so I can meet them lol.

I would like to assume Atarka, World Render, but I do not know? Any ideas?

Probably is Atarka based on the antler-things. Or at least a member of her brood.

Kolaghan, the Storm's Fury's

He's the clan's dragon. If you look you see two horns on the top. Not antlers.

i think it looks like some breed of dragon we have yet to see. Those horns on the throne look far too large to belong to Kolaghan and if you notice the actual shape of his head, the "snout" area doesn't match. There should be a "hump" type protrusion where the seat is located and it just doesn't lay right for that feature to be part of it. It definitely isn't Atarka because hers really do resemble antlers. That said, it doesn't look anything close to what the other legendary dragon heads look like from the set either, so I guess it's pretty fair to assume that there may be a dragon (most likely legendary) that we have yet to meet. In Dragons of Tarkir I feel we are going to meet this one.

Besides, this throne seems like a big deal on Tarkir. I am not sure of it's lore, but if there is one dragon throne, don't you think it may come from a more commonly revered dragon rather than just a single clan's "flagship" dragon?

Maybe it is Ugin, the Spirit Dragon as in Ugin's Nexus there is no skull to be found so it is most probable that the mardu pinched it...

Well, the skull did belong to a dragon. It looks to be in remarkable condition considering the 1,400 or so years that have passed since its owners death.

I guess that's neither here nor there. It certainly looks like an example of the Mardu brood's, at any rate. Kudos to the design team for putting in interesting tidbits of flavor and artistic continuity like this.

This isn't an SRS post. Moved to Lore.

To me, Dragon Throne of Tarkir looks more like a compilation of various bones than a single skull... and the section that is a skull does not appear to be a natural formation. It appears to have been damaged and altered to become the seat.

According to the KTK fat pack guide, the skull is part of an ancient storm dragon. So it is probably Kolaghan or either one of the common or uncommon red dragons.

In one of the uncharted realms stories when sarkhan vol is back in fate reforged it is confirmed that the dragon throne is made out of Kolaghan's huge skull.
