Animar, Soul of Elements isn't a bad card. To be honest, i didn't know it existed. Thank you for the tip. As for why i wanted Ezuri, it was because it was the only commander I knew of that could help morphs.

Hello. My name is Rocksanne, and i am trying to make a favorite mechanic of mine work in commander. Obviously, that mechanic is morph. I understand that morph is very slow and clunky, but i enjoy playing it. I'm sort of still new to commander, and looking for tips and tricks.
One question i have, is 40 lands (and a few excelerants) too over the top? I did this in order to ensure i hit my first 3 land drops, or have access to 3 mana by turn three.
Because morph is so mana heavy, i have included a few mana cheap infinite mana combos. Are they worth playing? or should i play more defensive cards that tap my opponents creatures down?
To go with the need for mana, i have some cards that cant be blocked to combo with Prying Blade, is that worth it?
There is also the infinite turn combo with my commander.
Let me know what you think of this deck, changes that need to be made, and ways to help streamline a clunky mechanic.

One thing i do when trying to take out cards is look for ones i dont really get to play, or want to play, in a game. Also, cards you feel are too situational are good to take out too

Thank you Daedalus19876 for pointing out the obvious with Composite Golem. I HONESTLY did not see that little detail in the card. Thank you once again. I have replaced Composite Golem with a Whetwheel that i have. Thank you, too, for the card suggestions. I will look into getting them when i can,

So that meens as long as i have the god, I can tap all my mana, and i keep ALL of it, just in the form of colorless? Did i read that right?

If you are having problems getting the mana you need, I suggest increasing your land count. I run 40 lands and a few accelerators in my Morph deck. since Morph is based on having three mana as soon as possible, I made that a primary goal. I rarely have to shuffle back my starting hand due to not having enough mana.

Hello to all my fellow Plainswalkers! My name is Rocksanne and im currently working on a U/G morph deck. I have a soft spot for the Morph mechanic, it was the first deck I built myself. Now I play a morph commander deck, and am trying to make it work. One thing I'm testing is a HUGE amount of lands, 40 to be exact. I did this to try to make SURE i hit my first three land drops, since a Morph creature costs 3. On the topic of mana, i have some Infinite Mana combos in the deck, should i keep them? I like my commander, and thus dont want to change it. I know Morph is old, but i still see it as a decent deck if built carefully. I am trying to make this deck as competative as i can. Any suggestions would be WELL appreciated.
