Hey Em9500: Great question. Here's how I do it: Under the place where you add decks, there is a box called 'Hubs.' Scroll through those and see which ones match. Let me know if this helps, if it doesn't I will use screenshots for a guided tutorial.

How do you add tags? I feel kind of dumb but I honestly don't know

Sure, and you're 100% correct. They are called accordions. Here's how I do it.

Magicsheep, against your deck I had to adjust a couple cards in both my main deck and my side board. The cycling mechanic is tricky and at first you were exposing a big weakness in my deck. I'm glad you recommended play testing it because I was able to make necessary changes of cards I wasn't sure about to bring in cards I am sure about now. As to your original question of what I would side board, I would remove golden demise and fatal push from my main board and bring in ixalan's binding and harsh scrutiny. That tilted the matchup in to my favor but I'm curious if you have a different result because I'm sure you are better at playing with your deck than I am.

When you are viewing, not editing your deck, there should be a button saying, 'Add to Folder' on the left, along with a bunch of other buttons (close to the upvote count). Click that, then a box saying new folder will pop up. Type in the title and click add to folder. I imagine you'll have a folder named, 'Making Unplayable Cards Playable.' For you second deck in the series, click add to folder, then select the existing folder. Hope this helps, let me know if it doesn't.

Hey Jaredmls: I was hoping you could playtest against my U/B cycling deck and also against daNoodalz's cycling deck (https://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/the-official-tricycle-deck/). Thanks for your consideration.

I love how you added all your favorites to your description! To make it easier to read, I would give each favorite its own column. To do this, add a bunch of spaces after each favorite. I did this to mine, and it ended up a lot easier to read.

A great finisher for this deck would be Gruesome Fate. Try to find a way to splash some black (like with Birchlore Rangers) and you could have a great finisher.

Metallic Mimic maybe? Vanquisher's Banner is very good but I feel its a little too slow in this deck. Also of note: Counterspell is not legal in standard. Dire Fleet Neckbreaker is also overpowered in draft, not sure how it'd do in a constructed deck. Great deck MK24KIRK!

Great deck! I think this deck could be strong, with a couple of additions. Metallic Mimic could really make all your merfolk bigger and better. Also, for me, its easier when the cards are sorted by type, and then the other cards say sideboard. Its harder to look at your spread and land base when they're all grouped up. Here's an example: Merfolk Standard

You should probably add it under the hubs "control" or "aggro" (your choice: to me, it's kind of a combination). For me, your description is BEGGING for one of my suggestions: Bontu's Last Reckoning. It's a great board wipe that will clear your opponent's board before playing your own creatures and attacking.

Oh, I just thought of another card that could be great in this deck. daNoodalz, a must in this deck is Regal Caracal, because it can really hold its own. Another suggestion: Majestic Myriarch could take over the game if your opponent doesn't have/draw removal very fast.

Hello Suns_Champion! I admire all of your decks and just wanted to say that I love this deck! Keep making great decks, because all of them are worth an upvote!

I understand. I try not to spend too much money on Magic. I try and make (mostly) budget decks and play with friends at FNM. The important thing is to have fun :)

Here's a couple of good cards that would be good in this deck. Duress and Harsh Scrutiny are really good against early aggro and even some midrange decks. Also, I don't think that splashing red is a great idea, so maybe add Dragonskull Summit. Also, Implement of Malice is pretty slow but it does let you draw a card, which could be very important in this deck. Also, you need some better removal such as Hour of Glory, Vraska's Contempt, and Fatal Push Great deck jphodge!

Grisly Spectacle could help you mill extremely well. Jace, Memory Adept has a ton of synergy here and could be very useful. I highly recommend these cards because they'll work great in this deck. I have these cards, and I think I'll head over to FNM and give this deck a spin. Also, I'll play against some friends and let you know how it goes. But, could you give me a sideboard to work with before I play? I'm happy to offer suggestions for a sideboard.

Hey Em9500: I would recommend Life Goes On. It's a great common that can have flexibility. Cathedral Sanctifier and Felidar Sovereign are great in this deck, too.

Duress and Vraska's Contempt are good anti-control sideboard. Ixalan's Binding and Cast Out are good against the commonly used (in control decks) Scarab God. Harsh Scrutiny would also be good, as well as Doomfall. Also, sideboard 1 x Fumigate because its a good board wipe.

February 17, 2018 11:41 a.m.

I agree with Kizmetto. Lifecrafter's Bestiary is probably the best card draw in this deck. Also, I use Shake the Foundations and Crash Through because they can actually be quite useful. Shake the Foundations can destroy small, unblockable merfolk, and Crash Through can give your bigger dinosaurs trample, while also letting you draw a card.
